    摘要: A convertible child carrier is provided comprising a pair of opposing central hub members having telescopic rear legs pivotally attached the hub members at a first end. Each of the legs has a pivotable wheel affixed to a second end. The child carrier further includes a yoke member generally defining an arch-like shape that is also pivotally attached to both of the pair of hub members. An additional wheel is affixed a central section of the yoke member. The child carrier further includes a handle member pivotally attached to each of the hub members, a seating portion disposed between the distal ends of the yoke member, and a storage portion affixed to the handle member defining an internal storage cavity. The rear legs, the yoke member, and the handle member each may pivot to a stowed configuration such that the storage portion encompasses the members within the storage cavity.

    摘要: A lock includes a housing, a keypad disposed on the housing, and a latch assembled with the housing. The keypad includes a plurality of button assemblies, each including an axially depressible button member including a camming surface, a lock wheel having a plurality of camming teeth, and a latch releasing feature secured to the lock wheel for rotation therewith. Pressing the button member causes the camming surface to engage one of the plurality of calming teeth, thereby incrementally rotating the lock wheel between a plurality of rotational positions. When the button members of a predetermined one or more of the plurality of button assemblies are depressed a predetermined number of times, the latch releasing features of each of the plurality of button assemblies align with a plurality of blocking features of the latch to permit lateral sliding movement of the latch from a locked condition to an unlocked condition.

    摘要: The invention provides a pressure relief device for aerosol containers that may be subject to high internal pressures. The pressure relief device is a small plug formed of a rubber material. The plug has first and second bores extending inwardly from each end and defining between them a thin integral diaphragm separating the bores. A groove extends circumferentially around the device, and one end of the device is tapered so that it can be forced into a hole in the bottom of an aerosol container. The area and thickness of the diaphragm can be varied to control the pressure at which the diaphragm will rupture to relieve excess pressures in the container. The rupturable diaphragm is protected from damage during the insertion process, and when the container is on store shelves, by being located near the center of the device, protected by the bores on each side of the diaphragm.

    摘要: An exemplary self-destruct fuze delay for a submuntion includes an ampoule filled with an activation fluid, a spring-loaded pin to break the ampoule upon deployment of the munition, and a wick to collect and retain the activation liquid in contact with a spring loaded restraining link having an embedded firing pin. The activation liquid contacts the restraining link, preferably via the wick. The action of the activation liquid on the restraining link over time causes the link to fail at the predetermined location, allowing a severed portion with the embedded firing pin to move under force (e.g., spring, gas) and impact or initiate a secondary detonator. The secondary detonator is in close proximity to a primary detonator typically used to initiate a main charge of the submunition. Initiation of the secondary detonator destroys the primary detonator and, depending upon slide location, either sterilizes the submunition, or destroys the entire submunition.
