    摘要: A locking apparatus includes an actuating hub rotatably mounted on a base, a handle connected with the actuating hub, a control plate provided adjacent to the actuating hub and formed with a plurality of teeth, two locking tumblers, and a series of button engagement disc clutch plates and coding disc clutch plates mounted on the locking tumblers, whereby pressing a selected group of buttons rotates their respective button engagement disc clutch plates and coding disc clutch plates such that cut-out apertures formed on the coding disc clutch plates align with the teeth of the control plate, thereby allowing movement of the control plate and rotation of the actuating hub when the grip handle is rotated.     摘要: A dual locking padlock having a code locking mechanism and an overriding mechanism is disclosed. The housing has a top body as its top portion, a stack of dials and a stack of clutches mounted on a middle portion and a bottom portion having holes to receive screws from the top body for securing the housing. Dials are engagingly mounted on the clutches and only rotatable relative to the clutch when the lock is in the opened mode for changing the combination code. The housing has a spindle having a channel to store the heel of a shackle. The spindle's upward movement allows the shackle to be pulled upward to unlock the padlock. The spindle is allowed to move upward either when a correct combination code is used or when a key activates the overriding mechanism. With the overriding mechanism, the padlock can also be opened with a key.

    摘要: A combination lock having a plurality of dials and clutches arranged to control a lock shackle is disclosed. Each of the dials is mounted on a different clutch to form a dial-clutch pair. The clutch has a protrusion and the dial has an open slot dimensioned to receive a protrusion and a plurality of faulty notches. The protrusion is so located that when the lock is in the lock mode, the protrusion in each of the dial-clutch pairs is disengaged from the open slot, allowing the dial to rotate relative to the clutch. Since the clutches do not turn along with the dials and the faulty notches look similar to the open slot, it would be difficult for an intruder to pick the lock by peeking the protrusion of the clutches while rotating the dials.

The present application provides the mechanical combination lock whereby one button can set a combination with 2 or more bits. That means repeating characters can appear in a combination sequence.     摘要: A padlock that can be locked and unlocked by both dials and a secondary opening mechanism, the padlock including a lock body, a shackle with a long leg and a short leg where the shackle can move between a locked configuration in which the short leg is secured in the lock body and an opened configuration in which the short leg is removable from the lock body. The padlock includes a combination mechanism, including a plurality of clutches mounted around the long leg of the shackle and corresponding dials mounted in the lock body each having teeth configured to engage with an extended fin of one of the clutches and a top cap seal configured to prevent the combination mechanism from being pulled apart from the lock body. A cam having a hole formed therein is configured to allow a key-user to decode a code used to unlock the padlock.

    摘要: A combination lock includes a locking mechanism, a code identifying member, and a plurality of user rotatable dials, with a recess disposed on an outer periphery of each dial. The locking mechanism includes a plurality of dial engaging members configured to hold the locking mechanism in a locking position. When each of the dials is rotated to an unlocking orientation, the recesses align with the dial engaging members, allowing the locking mechanism to move from the locking position to an unlocking position. When the code identifying member is moved to a code identifying condition, the dial engaging members are in biased engagement with the dials, such that rotation of any one of the dials to the unlocking orientation causes the corresponding dial engaging member to engage the corresponding recess to provide a perceptible indication that the dial is in the unlocking orientation.
