    摘要: A pulse width modulation (PWM) illumination control circuit with low visual noise for driving a light-emitting diode (LED) is provided. An illumination control pulse-generating unit is used to generate an illumination control pulse signal according to an illumination-adjusting signal. The duty cycle or frequency of the illumination control pulse signal varies within a predetermined scope for controlling a DC/DC converter to drive the light-emitting diode so that overall visual noise level of the PWM illumination control circuit is improved.

    摘要: A low visual noise, jitterized pulse width modulation brightness control circuit is provided. The circuit uses a brightness control signal generating unit to receive a brightness adjusting signal and to generate a brightness control signal in response to the brightness adjusting signal. The brightness control pulse signal has a duty cycle or frequency varying in a predetermined range. An inverter coupled to the brightness control signal generating unit drives the fluorescent lamp in response to the brightness control pulse signal to reduce the visual interference due to the adjustment of the current beam density.

    摘要: Apparatus and method for treatment of a particulate material employs a conveyor belt for supporting the particulate material for transport and a source of gas for delivery through the conveyor belt to fluidize the particulate material. A gas distribution system is used for controlling the gas flow to create regions of greater and lesser fluidization. This approach avoids the use of mechanical agitation of the conveyor belt which improves efficiency and reliability. The apparatus and method fmd particular application in the handling of particulate foodstuffs in bulk when treatment such as freezing, heating, or blanching of individual food particles is required.

    摘要: This present invention is to classify the nodes into different roles for the purpose of routing packet and storing data. This is needed because each node in the Distributed Hash Table (DHT) network may have various capacities in terms of network bandwidth and disk storage. That is to say, this invention is focusing on assigning distinct functional roles (Server/Peer/Client) to nodes in the network based on the prior art (algorithm Kademlia). By using XOR of node ID's numeric values the distance between all the nodes can be known.
