Abstract:
A pressure-tight door allowing movement of hinges includes: a hinge fixating part including a fixed member having one surface with a movable groove formed therein and the other surface fixed to a door frame, and a movable member having one surface inserted into the movable groove so as to slide bidirectionally on the movable groove and a hinge attached to the other surface of the movable member, connected to a door and sliding together with the movable member. The movable member of the hinge fixating part slides inwardly together with the hinge only when the pressure due to flooding or explosion is applied to the pressure-tight door, whereby the pressure-tight door is able to effectively block any leakage by compressing the gasket.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for reducing current consumption in a portable terminal are provided, in which upon generation of a task, a controller transitions to a Virtual Maximum Clock (VMC) level and changes a clock level from the VMC level according to a load state of the controller, to process the task. Moreover, the controller changes the clock level by at least one of transition from the VMC level to an RMC level, a stepwise increase from the VMC level, a stepwise decrease from the VMC level, and a hold at the VMC level, according to the load state of the controller.

Abstract:
A passenger distinguishing apparatus is provided. The passenger distinguishing apparatus includes: a plurality of lower brackets that are fixed to a floor of a vehicle room; upper brackets that assist mounting of a passenger seat disposed at an upper part of the lower brackets; and a plurality of sensors that are disposed between the lower brackets and the upper brackets to detect a weight of a passenger seated in the passenger seat, wherein in an upper end part and a lower end part of the sensors, male screw threads for bolt-fastening to fastening holes formed at each of the lower bracket and the upper bracket are formed, and in at least one of the upper end part and the lower end part of the sensors, dampers for absorbing assembling tolerance of the sensors while being fixed due to a contact with nuts tightened and fixed to a portion in which the male screw threads are formed, are formed. Therefore, an assembling process can be improved, a cost can be reduced, and durability of the sensor can be improved.

Abstract:
A passenger discriminating apparatus according to the present invention includes a plurality of load sensors for measuring a load of a passenger, which is applied to a passenger seat disposed within a vehicle, and a pair of dummy sensors configured to support the load of the passenger seat and not having a load sensing function. The type of the passenger is discriminated by comparing a sum of values in which the load values measured by the plurality of load sensors, respectively, are multiplied by a load weight of the load sensors and a reference value. Accordingly, the passenger discriminating apparatus can save the prime cost, reduce its weight, and secure an equivalent or more performance.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device that mitigates performance degradation problems, which result from assembling and fastening the covers of the liquid crystal display device. By incorporating a protecting unit that substantially isolates fastening screws from the inner volume between the upper and lower covers of the liquid crystal display device, impurities introduced by friction between the fastening screws and the covers are contained, preventing them from contamination driver circuitry in the liquid crystal display device. Further, the protecting unit holds the lamp wires for the backlight of the liquid crystal display device, preventing the fastening screws from contacting the lamp wires and potentially exposing the inner wire, which may lead to instability in the backlight supply voltage.
Abstract:
In order to provide a dielectric resonator filter which can be reduced in dimension, can be reduced in height, and can be surface-mounted, in a dielectric resonator filter including a rectangular-parallelopiped or polygonal-pole-like metal cavity in which at least one dielectric resonator is arranged between one pair of input/output probes, the input/output probes are attached to corner portions of the rectangular-parallelopiped metal cavity.
