Abstract:
Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods and machine readable media for the management of content creation. In some examples the system includes a content management component configured to store portions of an electronic content work and to implement version control of the electronic content work; a defect tracking component configured to store a defect record related to a stored portion of the electronic content work; a publication pipeline component configured to format the electronic content work for publication; and a integration component configured to present a graphical user interface which allows for editing the stored portions of the electronic content work, editing the defect record, and instructing the publication pipeline to format the electronic content work for publication.
Abstract:
A user interface for a mobile computing device includes three distinct display areas, one for presentation of an image and one or more interactive elements, a second for display of a linearly scrollable sequence of content elements, each of which is associated with a corresponding one of the interactive elements, and a third for display of soft keys, each of which corresponds to a respective one of the interactive elements. The soft keys and the interactive elements are responsive to user input so as to cause the image displayed in the first display area to feature prominently a portion thereof corresponding to the interactive element associated with the user input and the content element displayed within the second display area to be that associated with the same interactive element.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for creating, editing and publishing cross-platform interactive digital content works include a content management component configured to store portions of a digital content work and to implement version control of the digital content work; a defect tracking component configured to store a defect record related to a stored portion of the digital content work; a publication pipeline component configured to format the digital content work for publication; and a integration component configured to present a graphical user interface which allows for editing the stored portions of the digital content work, editing the defect record, and instructing the publication pipeline to format the digital content work for publication.

Abstract:
A system and method of social interaction includes receiving interaction information for an interaction created by a first user of an electronic content work, the interaction information comprising an identification number of a portion of the electronic content work associated with the interaction. The system and method includes storing the received interaction information. The system and method also includes receiving a request from a second user requesting interaction information for a requested portion of the electronic content work. the system and method also includes sending the received interaction information in response to determining that the identification number associated with the received interaction information matches the identification in the request for interaction information.
Abstract:
Icons representing a library of predefined media objects for insertion in a digital content work open for editing within a content creation and editing tool may be displayed in a graphical user interface of the content creation and editing tool. Thus, the content creation and editing tool may include an interface which displays, simultaneously, a presentation view and a code view of content comprising the digital content work along with icons representing the library of predefined media objects. Computer-readable code corresponding to a selected one of the library of predefined media objects may be inserted within the digital content work at a user-specified location, e.g., responsive to user action specifying a desire to insert code. Also, an explanation of a selected one of the media objects of the library may be displayed responsive to a user action.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for displaying, responsive to user-designation of a desired set of media object previews for view, the previews of the media objects of an electronic content work within a single view on a display of a computer system. The view presents those previews of the media objects of the electronic content work appropriate for one or more target rendering environments, according to user-specified display criteria. The previews may be images of the media objects captured when the subject media objects were rendered in a simulated target rendering environment. In some cases, these may be images of the media objects captured with the media objects were in desired states during rendering thereof in the simulated target rendering environment. The view may present the previews according to user-defined size criteria.
Abstract:
Content items are distributed to a content delivery network using identifiers that expresses relationships between the content items and at least one associated content element. When making requests to content delivery network, a requesting Web browser may thus specify the content items according to uniform resource locators that include credentials that allow the content delivery network to verify that the browser is authorized to receive the content items. These uniform resource locators may uniquely associate the content items with the associated content element and the requesting browser in a cryptographically secure manner.
