    摘要: In the normal condition, a braking force is generated by directly supplying to a disk brake a fluid pressure generated in a master cylinder in response to an operation of a brake pedal. In addition, a braking force can be generated by supplying a fluid pressure to the disk brake by actuating a hydraulic pump motor by a controller. When a knock-back occurs due to, for example, rapid turning of a vehicle, a piston is allowed to be displaced backward so that uneven wear of a brake pad and a disk rotor can be prevented. After that, when a cause for the knock-back is eliminated, the piston is caused to move forward and a pad clearance is adjusted by actuating the pump motor by the controller so that deterioration of the responsiveness can be prevented.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a brake device in which brake feeling can be improved. In response to depression of a brake pedal 6, an electric brake 5 mounted on the rear side starts to generate a braking force at the time of stroke h1 before a fluid pressure brake 4 mounted on the front side starts to generate a braking force when the stroke reaches stroke h2. In the conventional art, the braking force on the rear side is set according to the fluid pressure on the front side, and braking can be controlled only by the response of the fluid pressure. In the conventional art, an invalid stroke is long, and when the stroke enters a braking force zone where a braking force is generated according to a pedal stroke, the braking force suddenly increases relative to an advance of the stroke (rigid impression), whereby the driver often feels discomfort and pedal feeling is deteriorated. On the other hand, in the present invention, the rear side can generate a braking force prior to the front side, whereby it is possible to reduce rigid feeling, and therefore improve pedal feeling.

In an operation for mounting of the protective boot, the pin-side mounting portion is inclined radially inward through the thin-walled portion while being slidably moved along the sliding pin, to thereby effect an escape of air contained in an annular space between the sliding pin and the boot through the air passage groove. The thick-walled portion prevents the pin-side mounting portion from bending radially inward to an undesirable extent. Thus, the operation for mounting of the protective boot can be smoothly conducted.

    摘要: A noise detection signal detected at an evaluation point is filtered by a low pass filter, so that an evaluation waveform signal is extracted. A real signal mother wavelet of complex type is derived from the extracted evaluation waveform signal. Using this mother wavelet, an abnormal waveform signal stored in advance is processed by wavelet transformation. Then, a correlation value is calculated between the abnormal waveform signal and the mother wavelet. The correlation value is compared with a predetermined criterion, so that the presence or absence of abnormality in a sound source or vibration source corresponding to each abnormal waveform signal is determined.

    摘要: An input rod and an input piston are advanced in response to an operation of a brake pedal, and an electric motor is driven according to the movement of the input piston to propel a primary piston in a master cylinder through a ball-screw mechanism. Thus, a hydraulic pressure is generated and supplied to a brake caliper of each wheel. At this time, a part of the hydraulic pressure is received by the input piston, and a part of the reaction force of hydraulic pressure during braking is fed back to the brake pedal. A nut member of the ball-screw mechanism has a nut part with a ball groove and a rotor part thinner in wall thickness than the nut part. A rotor core of the electric motor is press-fitted to the rotor part, thereby making it difficult for stress produced in the rotor part by press fitting to be transmitted to the nut part, and maintaining the high dimensional accuracy of the ball groove on the nut part.
