摘要： A handheld recording device includes a first face, a second face, a third face pair, a recorder, and a connector. The first face has an opening. The second face is disposed opposite the first face. The third face pair is different from the first face and the second face. One of the third face pair is disposed on one side in a given direction of the second face and configured to be held by a user for recording. The recorder is configured to discharge ink from the opening. The connector is configured to be connected to a cable to receive at least one of power and image data. 摘要： A droplet discharge apparatus to discharge droplets while moved by a user includes a head to discharge a droplet onto a recording medium, a sensor to detect a movement amount of the droplet discharge apparatus in a predetermined period, and a memory to store determination information indicating whether droplet discharging has been instructed for each pixel of the image data. The droplet discharge apparatus further includes a processor configured to accumulate the movement amount to calculate a total movement amount of the droplet discharge apparatus; instruct droplet discharging from the head based on the total movement amount and the image data; instruct droplet discharging only for an unprinted pixel for which the determination information indicates that droplet discharging has not been instructed; and rewrite the determination information of the unprinted pixel to indicate that droplet discharging has been instructed, based on a predetermined condition.

摘要： An information processing apparatus includes circuitry that acquires a measured temperature of a target area from a measuring device, detects whether the measured temperature changes during a predetermined time period, determines whether a human exists in the target area based on the measured temperature and the detection result indicating whether the measured temperature changes during the predetermined time period, measures a duration of time in which the determination result indicating that the human exists in the target area and the detection result indicating that there is no temperature change are kept generated, and determines that there is no human in the target area even when the determination result indicates that the human exists, if the measured duration of time reaches a certain time period, the certain time period being modifiable based on history information indicating a previously generated determination result indicating whether the human exits in the target area.

摘要： A master cylinder includes a cylinder body and primary and secondary pistons slidably received in the cylinder body, thereby defining first and second pressure chambers in the cylinder body. The first and second pressure chambers communicate with a reservoir through first and second fluid passages, respectively. During automatic brake control such as traction control or vehicle stability control, hydraulic fluid is drawn from the reservoir through the first and second pressure chambers. A throttle valve is received in each of the first and second fluid passages. The throttle valves are adapted to open while the master cylinder is inoperative and to close under backflow pressure when hydraulic fluid flows from the pressure chambers toward the reservoir. The throttle valves each include a floating valve body and a valve seat. The valve seat has its radially outer portion liquid-tightly joined and fixed to the cylinder body so that the fixed position of the valve seat and the lowermost position of the floating valve body are determined by the cylinder body.

摘要： A master cylinder includes a primary piston and a secondary piston, each formed with piston ports which include two different kinds of ports, i.e. first ports for ensuring communication between a reservoir and a pressure chamber of the master cylinder, and second ports through which brake fluid is sucked from the reservoir during automatic break control. The second ports are greater in number than the first ports and are positioned forwardly of the first ports so that the second ports are closed by primary cups which are provided on the inner wall of the cylinder body so as to be in sliding contact with the respective pistons before the first ports when the respective pistons are advanced. An annular wall having a greater inner diameter than the outer diameter of the pistons is formed on the inner wall of the cylinder body to support the back of each of the primary cups. An annular groove is formed in each piston so as to communicate with the first ports. The annular groove is preferably arranged so as to radially oppose the annular wall when the piston is in an inoperative position.
