Abstract: An automated traffic control process and system providing automatic remote monitoring the locations of one or more remote vehicles, determining which vehicles fall within one or more preference categories, and if a vehicle in a particular preference category is detected as approaching a remote intersection, issuing a preemption instruction to a traffic signal controller for the remote intersection. Abstract: The water detection sensor includes a retrofit system such as a water-proof housing that selectively attaches to an exterior of a water conduit coupled at or near a dispense outlet of an emergency safety shower or emergency eyewash unit. The sensor may include a pair of guidewires that extend through the body of the water conduit and have a pair of respective electrodes that reside therein in non-conductive relation during an “off” or “no flow” condition. In an “on” or “flow” condition, the electrodes become immersed in water and can conduct electricity therebetween by way of the electrically conductive water medium. As such, a water conductivity circuit coupled thereto and disposed within the water-proof housing may relay a signal to a controller, which activates an audible or visual alarm that water is flowing through the emergency safety shower and/or the emergency eyewash unit.

Abstract: The shower head nozzle as disclosed herein includes a quick-connect coupling for selectively attaching the nozzle to a downwardly extending conduit or tube for directing tested water through a test unit and into a bucket or drain, wherein the test unit may include a flow meter for measuring real-time water flow rate and a temperature sensor for measuring real-time water temperature dispensed from the shower head, thereby reducing the testing time, more accurately determining flow-rate and water temperature, and decreasing the amount of waste water.

Abstract: An emergency eyewash unit includes a pair of water discharge ports oriented to produce a pair of upwardly directed, diverging water streams for inside-out flush flow of contaminants from a person's eyes.
