Abstract:
A particulate washing or cleaning composition containing (A) a phosphate-free water-soluble builder component and (B) alkali metal percarbonate particles having a coating containing alkali metal silicate.
Abstract:
A process for making a detergent tablet by forming a disintegrating agent by compacting cellulose or a cellulose derivative, forming disintegrating agent particles comprising the disintegrating agent, dry mixing a washing- or cleaning-active substance and an amount of the disintegrating agent particles effective to rapidly dissolve or disperse the composition in water, and shaping the resulting mixture into a tablet. The disintegrating agent particles have a particle size distribution of less than 10% by weight smaller than about 0.2 mm particle size and no more than 1% by weight of dust-fine particles.
Abstract:
A process for the production of solid or paste-form products by fast reactions is carried out stoichiometrically wherein a gaseous medium is introduced into each of the reactants to be reacted with one another, the reactant streams formed are combined and are subsequently forced through a spray unit in a weight ratio of gaseous medium to product stream of from 0.04 to 0.3 (kg/kg) and at a rate of 0.1 to 15 m/second, as calculated from the gas-free reactant streams and based on the free cross-section of the spray unit. The products obtained are free from readily volatile constituents.
Abstract:
Surfactant granulates containing 10 to 90 wt. % amine oxide, 10 to 90 wt. % carrier material and 0 to 50 wt. % binder can be manufactured by fluidized bed granulation and employed for upgrading a washing detergent or cleaning agent composition. The upgraded washing detergent or cleaning agent composition is characterized inter alia by an improved performance for the removal of fat-containing stains.
Abstract:
Methods for manufacturing surfactant granules, which methods comprise: (a) neutralizing an anionic surfactant acid with a solid neutralization agent, wherein the anionic surfactant acid has a water content of 5 to 24 wt %, and wherein the anionic surfactant acid and the solid neutralization agent are agglomerated in a free-fall mixer, to form surfactant granules having a bulk density of 300 to 800 g/l, are described.
Abstract:
A process for making detergent granules having a bulk density of 300 to 700 g/l. A solid carrier containing neutralizing agent is mixed in a rotating mixer with a liquid binding agent containing surfactant acid to forma partially granulated premixture. The premixture is fluidized, sprayed with additional binder, and granulated in a fluidized bed reactor to form the detergent granules.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for producing bleach-activator-containing granules from a water-containing bleach activator preparation form by granulation and simultaneous drying in a fluidized-bed and subsequent consolidation of the primary granules by treatment with an aqueous polymer and/or phosphonate solution, in a fluidized bed.
