Abstract:
A method embodiment herein has a central storage device periodically receiving images of documents. These documents have written or printed thereon financial information and can relate to a single tax entity. These images are supplied from at least one remote device over a network. The images are processed (at the central storage device) to classify the images according to tax classifications and to extract the financial information from the images. With this information, the financial information can also be classified into tax classifications. This method also accumulates, over a tax period (e.g., tax year), the images and the financial information in the tax classifications as the images are periodically received by the central storage device to create an accumulation of financial information and a corresponding accumulation of images. From this accumulation of financial information for the tax year, the method prepares tax reports and outputs the tax reports.
Abstract:
A method of providing a prominent time of completion display and percentage of completion display for a given job requirement and providing an indication of the amount of paper stock required from several sources of paper stock in a printing system including the steps of responding to entered job requirements to calculate a total time of completion for the given job and the paper stock required from each of the paper stock sources, displaying the total time of completion at the operator interface, displaying the amount of paper stock required from each of the paper stock sources, and initiating the job run and during the job run periodically determining the time to completion of the remaining portion of the job and displaying the time to completion in a prominent bar graph.
Abstract:
Methods and systems of brokering printing device capacity are disclosed. A broker computing system including one or more broker computing devices receives a print request including one or more print parameters from a print requester computing device and availability information from one or more print supplier printing devices. The broker computing device selects one of the one or more print supplier printing devices based on the one or more print parameters and the availability information for the selected print supplier printing device. The print request may be transmitted to the selected print supplier printing device. Alternately, a link for the selected print supplier printing device may be transmitted to the print requester computing device. The link enables the print requester computing device to directly contact the print supplier printing device.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and system for delivering device specific service information to a mobile platform. According to an exemplary system, a mobile phone and a Device Assist Server are operatively connected to prompt a user to capture relevant device information using a camera associated with the mobile phone. A remote Device Assist Server processes this device information and provides service related information to the user via the mobile phone.

Abstract:
A method of maintaining a classified document labeling policy of an institution. One or more documents are received and document types are determined therefor. A determination is made as to whether the documents comply with the classified document labeling policy of the institution using one or more rules. The rules embody the classified document labeling policy of the institution in a computer interpretable form and are dependent upon document type. Corrective measures for ones of the documents determined to be non-compliant are taken.
Abstract:
An online identification document management service includes a host server having a web-based interface adapted to facilitate secure customer access to the host server. The host server is configured to receive identification data communicated from the customer through use of a computing device. The identification data includes at least one of an imaged identification document and information related to the imaged identification document. A processing module is in operative communication with the host server and is configured to process the identification data communicated from the customer. A processing software application is trained to classify the processed identification data and selectively extract data therefrom based on the classification. The processing software application is configured to selectively present the processed identification data for a customer verification via the web-based interface upon at least one of an unsuccessful classification and an unsuccessful extraction of data. A storage device is in operative communication with the processing module and is configured to store the extracted data as metadata upon at least one of the customer verification and the extraction of data. The processing software application is cumulatively trained to subsequently classify the processed identification data successfully upon the customer verification thereof. A content management software application operates on the host server and is configured to process a customer request through the web-based interface to selectively generate at least one reproduction of the processed identification data.
Abstract:
An online life insurance document management service includes a host server having a web-based interface adapted to facilitate secure customer access to the host server. The host server is configured to receive life insurance data communicated from the customer through use of a computing device. A processing module is in operative communication with the host server and is configured to process the life insurance data communicated from the customer. A processing software application is trained to classify the processed life insurance data and selectively extract data therefrom based on the classification. The processing software application is configured to selectively present the processed life insurance data for a customer verification via the web-based interface upon at least one of an unsuccessful classification and an unsuccessful extraction of data. A storage device is in operative communication with the processing module and is configured to store the extracted data as metadata upon at least one of the customer verification and the extraction of data. A content management software application is configured to detect at least one of a customer request and at least one triggering condition. The content management software application generates at least one report based on the detection of at least one of the customer request and the at least one triggering condition.

An online home improvement document management service includes a host server having a web-based interface adapted to facilitate secure customer access to the host server. The host server is configured to receive home improvement data communicated from the customer through use of a computing device. A processing module is in operative communication with the host server and is configured to process the home improvement data communicated from the customer. A processing software application is trained to classify the processed home improvement data and selectively extract data therefrom based on the classification. The processing software application is configured to selectively present the processed home improvement data for a customer verification via the web-based interface upon at least one of an unsuccessful classification and an unsuccessful extraction of data. A storage device is in operative communication with the processing module and is configured to store the extracted data as metadata upon at least one of the customer verification and the extraction. A content management software application is configured to detect at least one of a customer request through the web-based interface and at least one triggering condition corresponding to the metadata. The content management software application generates at least one report based on the detection of at least one of the customer request and the at least one triggering condition.
Abstract:
A system simulator including a plurality of nodes or processor boards for controlling the operation of the interactive sub-systems. The simulator includes a user interface having a screen providing a display of node selections for pre-selecting a given subset of the plurality of nodes, a memory for retaining the node selections for use in operating the machine, a control for simulating operation of the given subset of plurality of nodes, and for operating the remaining nodes to control at least a portion of the interactive sub-systems. The simulator can be integral with the reproduction machine or a stand alone device.
