摘要: A method and/or system for managing path environment variables in a data processing or computer system includes the steps of reading at least one path environment variable string; parsing at least one path variable from the at least one path environment variable string; and determining if a file directory associated with the at least one path variable exists; if the file directory does not exist, deleting the at least one path variable and reassembling the path environment variable string. Furthermore, the method and system will allow a user to rearrange the order of the path variables so operating system program searching could be optimized to allow known heavily used directories to be searched first thereby reducing processing time.

摘要: Current sensing resistors are connected directly to output terminals of MOSFETs forming the series switching stage of a PWM sinewave dimmer. An analog sensed current signal is coupled through an EMI resistant current link to comparators that provide an overcurrent indication in response to an overcurrent condition. A logic circuit overrides PWM control signals from a programmable controller, and operates drivers to render the series switching stage nonconductive and to render a clamp switching stage conductive until after the end of the current PWM duty cycle power on segment. The logic circuit sends an overcurrent signal through an optocoupler to an input of the programmable controller. The input of the controller is polled at a clock frequency for overcurrent signals and if the count exceeds a limit in any half cycle, or a maximum sum in sixteen half cycles of the AC supply, the series switching stage is rendered nonconductive and the clamp switching stage is rendered conductive pending a reset signal.

摘要: Techniques and mechanisms for capturing an image of processor state at one node of multiple nodes of a multi-processor platform, where the processor state includes some version of data which the node retrieved from another node of the platform. In an embodiment, a disruption of power is detected when a processor of a first node has a cached version of data which was retrieved from a second node. In response to detection of the disruption, the data is saved to a system memory of the first node as part of an image of the processor's state. The image further comprises address information, corresponding to the data, which indicates a memory location at the second node. In another embodiment, processor state is restored during a boot-up of the node, wherein the state includes the captured version of data which was previously retrieved from the second node.

摘要: A split frame lathe having improved locking, cutting and adjustment capabilities is disclosed. The split frame lathe includes an embodiment having a plurality of internal bearing systems where each internal bearing system includes an eccentric bushing, a bearing pin and a v-bearing. Another embodiment of the split frame lathe may include adjustable leg systems. The split frame lathe may also include a star gear connected to a gear ring where the star gear can be rotated in a first direction and, alternatively, in an opposite second direction. In another embodiment the split frame lathe includes a trip system to prevent damage to the lathe and harm to the operator. The split frame lathe may also include improved locking mechanisms for the gear and base ring and a hinge system. The split frame lathe also may include a counter bore and flange facer attachment.

摘要: A system for the storage and retrieval of pairs of boots utilizing a plurality of chutes, each having a diamond-shape cross section, with the chutes arranged in a honeycomb fashion, each chute having a carriage assembly disposed along the length of its inner apex. A plurality of hangers are provided, each having a pair of upwardly extending arms on which such pairs of boots can be mounted upside down with the hanger slideably and removably engaged to the carriage assembly. The chutes are disposed at a downward angle so that a pair of boots mounted on a hanger entered from the rear end of a chute will advance by gravity toward the front end of the chute where it can be removed when needed. An optional heating unit can be disposed on the bottom of each chute to speed up the drying time of the boots if such boots are wet.
