    摘要: An integrated circuit chip is made using Genie, a described computer chip design tool which can analyze the data contained within an entire endpoint report, compute relationships between paths based on shared segments, and display this information graphically to the designer. Specifically, Genie groups failing paths into Timing Islands. A timing island is a group of paths which contain at least one shared segment. The most frequently shared segment is sifted to the top of the priority list for each island, and is labeled as the Hub. Thinking of timing islands as a tree, the hub of the island would be the trunk. If you chop the tree down by the trunk, all of the branches, limbs and twigs will fall down too. This is analogous to fixing the timing failures in the hub, and the fix trickling out to each of the segments that dangle off the hub.

    摘要: A method for co-operative thermal management of a number of independent electronic devices housed within a common enclosure that includes designating a priority number and measuring a temperature for each of the independent electronic devices. Next, for each of the independent electronic devices, the measured temperature is evaluated to determine if it exceeds a threshold value for the independent electronic device. If the measured temperature exceeds a threshold value, a count-down value is initialize to the designated priority number of the independent electronic device. Following which, the count-down value is evaluated to determine if it is equal to zero. If the count-down value is equal to zero, the independent electronic device is powered down. However, if the count-down value is not equal to zero, a specified time interval is allowed to expire before the count-down value is decremented and re-evaluated to determine if it is equal to zero.

    摘要: The invention is an improved liquid photopolymer applicator means for use on photorelief printing platemaking machines. The applicator means comprises a substantially vertical plate which acts as both the rear wall of the applicator means and as a doctor blade for uniformly spreading the photopolymer. The remaining sides of the applicator means form a scoop means which is substantially movably connected to the vertical plate to define a bottom slot-like opening immediately in front of the vertical plate to discharge the photopolymer at a controlled rate, said photopolymer being doctored by the vertical plate as the entire assembly traverses the length of the platemaking machine. The entire assembly is a part of a movable carriage which traverses the length of the platemaking machine, said carriage being movably mounted to said platemaking machine upon a shim which determines the thickness of the photopolymer plate desired, and said carriage driven by an adjustable gear means.
