摘要： The present invention provides a multilayer polymeric film structure having an outer layer that is adhered to an inner layer. The inner layer comprises a blown film and may be coated with a peelable antifog coating. In some embodiments, the antifog coating comprises ethyl alcohol and nitrocellulose. The external and inner layers may be bonded together with an adhesive layer. The film structure may be configured to hold a food product such as produce, meat, and/or cheese.

The inner layer, or second layer, may include one or more grates, holes, mesh portions, openings, perforations, or slits disposed in one or more surfaces of the second layer. The openings can filter fines or particles from the contents of the second layer into a gap or pocket formed between a portion of the inner layer and the outer layer, or first layer. Alternatively, the bag or package may be single layered and include a septum in its interior. The septum can have one or more openings that filter fines or particles from the contents of the bag into a gap or pocket.

摘要： A strainable bag with a hook-and-hook closure can include walls formed of a material having multiple layers of polymer or paper or mixtures thereof, and which can include at least one gusset. The hook-and-hook closure allows for liquids or gases to be vented from the bag, as well as for liquids to be removed from the bag interior. The bag can be formed into a full open mouth configuration for ease of filling and ease of dispensing product. The hook-and-hook closure also allows for an imprecise alignment of the closure track to substantially close the bag around the gusset area. Methods of using and manufacturing a strainable bag with a hook-and-hook closure for preparing various food products are also presented.
