摘要: A concrete building block for masonry block walls is formed with first, second and third spaced parallel rectangular face shells, where the second face shell is intermediate the first and third face shells. First and second vertical end cross webs connect the first and second face shells and first and second spaced intermediate vertical cross webs connect the second and third face shells. Insulating inserts include end protrusions extending outwardly at the top edge thereof to fit into notches of the cross webs and include cutouts to accommodate mortar crumbs. The inserts further include longitudinal notches along the entire bottom edges and longitudinal notches along the entire top edges wherein said longitudinal notches along a bottom edge are dimensioned to mate with longitudinal notches along a top edge of neighboring ones of the insulating inserts creating an overlap that serves to (i) insulate against temperature transfer and (ii) provide a sound barrier.

摘要: The present invention related to CNT filled polymer composite system possessing a high thermal conductivity and high temperature stability so that it is a highly thermally conductive for use in 3D and 4D integration for joining device sub-laminate layers. The CNT/polymer composite also has a CTE close to that of Si, enabling a reduced wafer structural warping during high temperature processing cycling. The composition is tailored to be suitable for coating, curing and patterning by means conventionally known in the art.

摘要: The invention disclosed herein includes an apparatus and a method for treatment of vaginal prolapse conditions. The apparatus is a graft having a central body portion with at least one strap extending from it. The strap has a bullet needle attached to its end portion and is anchorable to anchoring tissue in the body of a patient. The invention makes use of a delivery device adapted to deploy the graft in a patient. The inventive method includes the steps of making an incision in the vaginal wall of a patient, opening the incision to gain access inside the vagina and pelvic floor area, inserting the inventive apparatus through the incision, and attaching the straps of the apparatus to anchoring tissue in the patient.

A self-assembling block copolymer that includes a first block species and a second block species respectively characterized by a volume fraction of F1 and F2 with respect to the self-assembling block copolymer is provided. At least one crosslinkable polymer that is miscible with the second block species is provided. The self-assembling block copolymer and the at least one crosslinkable polymer are combined to form a mixture. The mixture having a volume fraction, F3, of the crosslinkable polymer, a volume fraction, F1A, of the first block species, and a volume fraction, F2A, of the second block species is formed. A material having a predefined morphology where the sum of F2A and F3 were preselected is formed.

摘要: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a combination strapping package and dispenser that includes a first strapping coil holding compartment and a second strapping coil holding compartment configured to be nested together and to define a coil receiving or holding area. The combination strapping package and dispenser is configured to hold a strapping coil during shipment from the manufacturer or distributor to the end user and additionally during the use of the strapping by the end user such that the end user does not need to remove the strapping coil from the combination strapping package and dispenser. In certain embodiments, the combination strapping package and dispenser of the present disclosure is configured for mid-range amounts of coil which are easier to transport and use, is compostable, and requires less cost to ship.

摘要: A composition of matter for the recording medium of nanometer scale thermo-mechanical information storage devices and a nanometer scale thermo-mechanical information storage device. The composition includes: one or more polyaryletherketone copolymers, each of the one or more polyaryletherketone copolymers comprising (a) a first monomer including an aryl ether ketone and (b) a second monomer including an aryl ether ketone and a first phenylethynyl moiety, each of the one or more polyaryletherketone copolymers having two terminal ends, each terminal end having a phenylethynyl moiety the same as or different from the first phenylethynyl moiety. The one or more polyaryletherketone copolymers are thermally cured and the resulting cross-linked polyaryletherketone resin used as the recording layer in an atomic force data storage device.

摘要: An approach is presented for designing a polymeric layer for nanometer scale thermo-mechanical storage devices. Cross-linked polyimide oligomers are used as the recording layers in atomic force data storage device, giving significantly improved performance when compared to previously reported cross-linked and linear polymers. The cross-linking of the polyimide oligomers may be tuned to match thermal and force parameters required in read-write-erase cycles. Additionally, the cross-linked polyimide oligomers are suitable for use in nano-scale imaging.
