    摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the skeletal isomerization of unsaturated linear fatty acids to branched fatty acids which comprises contacting said unsaturated linear fatty acids with at least one large pore zeolite catalyst wherein said at least one zeolite catalyst comprises a material having a three dimensional channel structure having a pore diameter of at least 6.0 Å. In another embodiment, the invention relates to a process for the skeletal isomerization and hydrogenation of unsaturated linear fatty acids to saturated branched fatty acids which comprises contacting said unsaturated linear fatty acids with at least one metal-zeolite catalyst.

    摘要： The present invention generally relates to a textile softening composition which comprises, as the softening agent, a quaternary ammonium salt which comprises a mixture of mono-, di- and tri-ester components, wherein the amount of diester quaternary is greater than about 50% by weight, and the amount of triester quaternary is less than about 25% by weight based on the total amount of quaternary ammonium salt. The invention also relates to a softening agent which comprises a high diester quaternary ammonium salt mixture comprising mono- and diester components derived for ether dialkanolamines. The invention also relates to processes for preparing said softening agents, and methods of use as a fabric softener and as a hair and skin conditioner.

    摘要： A 2-in-1 conditioning shampoo includes an anionic surfactant and a cationic hair conditioning agent. The cationic hair conditioning agent is a fatty aliphatic quaternary ammonium compound having ester linkages. The cationic hair conditioning agent can be prepared by reacting an alkanol amine with a fatty acid or fatty acid ester having an aliphatic group of from about 11 to about 24 carbon atoms and thereafter quaternizing the resulting esteramine with an alkylating agent.
