Abstract:
A method and system for dispensing metered shots of cannabis-containing or hemp-containing concentrate into a receiving vessel. The method comprises the steps of (a) providing a control module that includes a touch screen; (b) communicating the control module with an endless piston pump or progressive cavity pump; (c) deploying a disposable plastic tube and plunger to dispense bulk concentrate into the pump; (d) positioning an empty receiving vessel into a position in relation to the dispenser using a conveyor, or a turntable, or by manually placing the receiving vessel into position; (e) dispensing a metered shot of the concentrate into the empty receiving vessel to prepare a filled vessel; and (f) re-positioning the filled vessel in registration with the conveyor or turntable so that the dispenser becomes engaged with a subsequent empty receiving vessel.
Abstract:
A process of casting an article includes an iron alloy being heated to a pour temperature of between 1460° C. and 1650° C. and a fluidity length of greater than 23 millimeters to form a melt. The melt is poured into a mold and allowed to solidify to the article. The article is then removed from the mold. A process of forging an article is also provided that includes an iron alloy workpiece being heated to a temperature of between 600° C. and 1200° C. The heated workpiece is then placed into a die set and repeatedly struck with a forging die. The workpiece flows into the die cavity in response to the striking. The workpiece is then removed from the die cavity. The resulting articles and the alloy from which such articles are formed are also provided.
Abstract:
A system and method for morphing a design element which precisely and efficiently morphs a design element within a data file to new target parameters by changing its general proportions, dimensions or shape. The present invention is generally a computer software program which loads an existing data file which includes one or more design elements, such as parts or an assembly of parts, and then automatically morphs the design element's dimensions, proportions and/or shapes to meet target parameters input by a user. The present invention will create several groups of points corresponding to each surface and associated bounding curves of the existing design. It will then morph each group into a new shape as per the input requirements by the user, fit the morphed group into an infinite surface, create boundary curves for each morphed group and then trim the infinite surface to create the new, morphed design element.
Abstract:
An unmanned air vehicle is provided. The unmanned air vehicle includes a frame having a center portion connecting two substantially parallel transversely spaced apart ele-wings. The ele-wings may store batteries and rotate along a forward axis to provide lift during a transition from vertical flight to linear flight. The landing gear may be connected to the ele-wings and configured to change pitch of the ele-wing to ensure stable flight during flight mode transition. A plurality of propellers, each having propeller drive motors, are attached to the frame and able to rotate from parallel position, relative to the center portion, for vertical flight to a perpendicular position, relative to the center portion, for linear flight. The propeller drives rotate on its axis and may be configured to propel the vehicle in a ground and flight mode.
Abstract:
A power switching unit for use with a power grid, a home power network, and a vehicle power network. A first power port is connectable to the power grid to receive power therefrom, a second power port is connectable to the vehicle power network, and a third power port is connectable with the home power network. A switch is in electrical communication with the first, second and third power ports, with the switch being transitional between first and second positions. In the first position, the switch places the first power port in electrical communication with the second and third power ports to enable the power grid to provide power to the vehicle power network and the home power network. In the second position, the switch places the second power port in electrical communication with the third power port, allowing the vehicle to provide power to the house power port.
Abstract:
A radiant heating assembly includes a fuel valve, a blower, a controller configured to control the fuel valve and the blower, and a heat exchanger or burner tube having integrated baffle elements. Baffle elements can be integrated externally into the walls of a heat exchanger or burner tube to baffle internally of the heat exchanger.
Abstract:
An engine mounted, vibration dampened radiator, to dampen vibrations from an engine to the radiator are disclosed. The radiator core is contained within a shell having two opposed longitudinal members and two opposed transverse members to form a coolant jacket. The vehicle radiator has a support bracket assembly, equipped with a longitudinal member having a length with opposing first and second ends, and a width of to accommodate at least one side of a vehicle radiator assembly, and a bracket member attached at one end to the longitudinal member and adapted to overfit internal coolant tubes in the radiator. The bracket has a length with opposing first and second ends, and a width. The bracket is equipped with at least one aperture along the width complementary to at least one coolant tube to permit insertion of the bracket over the coolant tube such that the tube extends through said aperture.
