摘要: Systems and methods for configuring an RFID tag reader based upon one or more aspects of an environment of the RFID tag reader are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tag reader is deployed into an environment that includes readable RFID tags capable of storing dynamic data, and a characteristic of the environment of the tag reader is identified. Based upon the identified characteristic, the configuration of the tag reader is adjusted. In variations, the tag reader is configurable based upon information received from RFID tags. A method for enhancing RFID tag reading performance for example includes sending a first signal to each of a plurality of RFID tags. Information is received from at least one of the plurality of tags, at an RFID tag reader, and a configuration of the tag reader is adjusted based upon at least a portion of the received information.

A smart timeline includes panels of event information, previews, images, etc. Moving ahead allows discovery of future live media content and events and uncovers mechanisms for setting notifications and reminders. Moving back in time allows discovery of past events and mechanisms for replaying past video and audio content. Event navigation mechanisms can be integrated with calendaring applications to post and select events discovered using event navigation mechanisms.

摘要: A phase shifting diode detector system for an RFID reader. Quarter-wave delay circuitry is coupled between a forward transmitted signal of the RFID reader applied at a first end of the delay circuitry, and a reflected signal returning from an RFID tag applied at a second end of the delay circuitry. The system includes a pair of diode detector bridges, each comprising a series-coupled diode pair configured such that diode polarities in each bridge are reversed relative to the output thereof, to produce opposite rectified signal output polarities. An input to each of the bridges is capacitively coupled, from the junction between each said diode pair, to a respective opposite end of the delay circuitry.

摘要: This present invention relates to a soda bottle cap having a shell with a spout and a flexible top, and a seal that has an opening through which liquid can flow out when the flexible top is pressed down. With the structure of this soda bottle cap it is possible to release the carbonated liquid from the soda bottle using the high pressure of CO.sub.2 gas inside. When the flexible top is pressed down, the seal changes shape and does not block inner hole (6) so that the liquid in the bottle can be pushed out through the tube(12), and then through the center hole(9) of the seal, and then through channels (10) of the seal, and then through the inner hole (6) of the shell, and then through the spout (4) by the inner hole (6) of the shell, and then through the spout (40 by the high pressure of CO gas in the bottle. When the force on the flexible top (7) is released after use, the flexible top and the seal go back to its original shape.

Client data to be mapped into a payload field of an optical transport frame is received and store in a memory. Timing information is generated based on bit and fractional bit granularity of client data mapped into the payload field of successive optical transport frames for use in recovering the client data from received optical transport frames.

Multiple tiles may be manipulated using keyboard, mouse, touchpad, and/or touchscreen movements, motions, and gestures. In particular examples, an overlay provided on top of a tile mechanism provides a user with additional navigation and management options.
