摘要: To reduce the size and weight of an engine body and improve the mountability and maintainability of transmitting rods in a valve train for an OHV engine having a crankshaft, a crankcase for rotatably supporting the crankshaft, a camshaft incorporated in the crankcase, cylinder heads connected to the crankcase, engine valves operably provided in the cylinder heads, and the transmitting rods for transmitting a valve operating force due to the rotation of the camshaft to the engine valves. The transmitting rods as pull rods are arranged on one side of cylinder barrels. One end portion of each transmitting rod is formed with an engaging portion disengageably engaged with a hook portion of a mating member. An engine body or a guide member, fixed to the engine body, is provided with a guide portion for guiding the engaging portion to the hook portion of the mating member.

摘要: A redundant mechanism includes two pressure regulating valves for covering one of the pressure regulating valves when the other one is in a defective condition. First and second pressure regulating valves are provided as pressure regulating members of the fuel injection circuit. The valves are connected to the reflux passage and the by-pass passage that communicates with the fuel injection passage via the first and the second orifices, respectively. First and second sensors are provided for detecting the fuel pressure applied on the respective pressure regulating valves separately. A controller of the failure diagnostic member compares the fuel pressures P1, P2 detected by the first and second sensors and the predetermined fuel pressure P in the fuel injection passage. If P1=P2, both of the first and the second pressure regulating valves are determined to be normal. When a defective operating condition occurs in one of the pressure regulating valves, P1 and P2 vary. Therefore, it is determined to be abnormal based on the differential pressure and a display is activated.

摘要: An automatic assembling apparatus automatically assembles such parts as an engine and a suspension to each work such as a car body conveyed by a conveyor. The system includes a parts truck and a screwing truck. The parts truck can be moved parallel to the conveying path of the conveyor and includes a coupling mechanism for coupling it to the conveyor and an approach truck for approaching the work while carrying the parts. The system further includes a screwing truck which can be moved parallel to the conveying path of the conveyor and includes a coupling mechanism for coupling it to the conveyor and a screwing mechanism for effecting screwing by approaching the work. The parts truck and the screwing truck are coupled to the conveyor and are moved in synchronism with the work. The parts are positioned as the approach truck approaches, and the screwing is effected as the screwing mechanism approaches. The parts are assembled without stop of the work.

摘要: To provide an oil receiver in which friction on a shaft body generated in association with introduction of hydraulic pressure into the oil receiver is alleviated. Therefore, the amount of fuel consumption is reduced and durability is improved. Furthermore, the number of components is reduced, and thus manufacturing and assembly costs can be reduced. An oil receiver includes a connecting oil passage in communication with an inside of the shaft body via a communication hole formed in the shaft body. A lead-in oil passage for introducing lubricating oil into the connecting oil passage extends from the connecting oil passage radially outward. A balance oil passage extends from the connecting oil passage radially outward on an opposite side of the connecting oil passage from the lead-in oil passage. The balance oil passage is closed at an extremity thereof. Accordingly, lubricating oil can be introduced from the lead-in oil passage into the inside of the shaft body.

摘要: A V-shaped engine has a pair of cylinder banks with a V-shaped space defined therebetween, a crank pulley disposed on one end thereof in the direction of a crankshaft, and a transmission case on an opposite end thereof. An intake manifold with a throttle body assembled thereon is disposed in the V-shaped space and positioned with the throttle body disposed over the transmission case, providing a space close to the crank pulley. At least one accessory actuatable by the crank pulley is disposed in the last-mentioned space. The accessory is mounted on a bracket mounted on the cylinder banks. An engine mount bracket for supporting the engine on a vehicle frame projects integrally from the bracket.
