    摘要: A watertight connection includes a male side and female side pair of terminal fittings. Each of the terminal fittings is mounted to an end part of an electrical line. Plug housings having male side and female side terminal fittings of two poles are correspondingly mounted, male side-to-male side and female side-to-female side. Insulation members each house a rear end part of a plug housing and an end part of an electrical lines. A sealing material member prevents moisture from penetrating into the insulation member. Openings, which expose the front end part of each plug housing outside of the insulation member, are formed in an inner wall surface of the insulation member. An outer circumferential surface of the rear end part of each of the plug housings is brought into close contact with the sealing material member to couple the plug housings and the insulation member in a watertight state.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus comprises a recording head having discharge ports to discharge ink; an ink tank containing ink to be supplied to the recording head; and device for performing predischarges to stabilize ink discharges from the recording head. In this apparatus, the recording head is provided with a discharge unit to discharge plural kinds of ink, and the device for performing predischarges operates predischarges from all the discharge ports, only from the discharges ports in the vicinity of each end of the discharging units, and from all the discharge ports in that order at least for predischarges from discharging unit having relatively thin ink. With such head and device for performing predischarges, it is possible to remove mixed ink after suction recovery with a lesser amount of ink consumption, and execute a high quality recording stably at all times.

    摘要: An ink jet recording device includes scanning means for scanning ink jet recording heads in a scanning direction, each of the recording heads having plural ink discharge generating elements and plural discharge ports associated therewith, the discharge ports being adapted to perform a recording operation within a recording area which is a total area covered by the discharge ports during one scanning operation, supplying means for supplying recording signals corresponding to the recording area to a group of the ink discharge energy generating elements, and conveying means for conveying a recording medium relative to the recording heads. A control means controls the ink jet recording heads, supplying means and conveying means so that when the control means operates in a first recording mode, a recording within the recording area is completed in a single scanning operation, and when the control means operates in a second recording mode, the recording within the recording area is completed by plural scanning operations such that the recording area is subjected to the overlapped recordings by different discharge ports. The control means selects the recording mode according to a condition relating at least to a material quality of the recording medium.
