    摘要: A display system includes respective light sources disposed at two opposed light input ends of a light guiding plate. A double-sided prism sheet is disposed on a light-emitting side of the light guiding plate and includes, on a first surface facing the light guiding plate, a triangular prism bank extending in a direction parallel to the light input ends of the light guiding plate. The double-sided prism sheet includes, on a second surface, opposite to the first surface, a cylindrical lens bank extending in a direction parallel to the triangular prism bank. A transmissive display panel is disposed on a light-emitting side of the double-sided prism sheet. A synchronization driving section alternatively illuminates the respective light sources so the transmissive display panel displays two different images. The light from the light sources is emitted through the transmissive display panel at respective divergent angles producing two images corresponding to right and left parallax images, producing a stereoscopic display.

In the film, a light-scattering characteristic F(θ) represents a relationship between the light-scattering angle θ and a scattered light intensity F fulfills Fy(θ)/Fx(θ)≧1.01 over a range of θ=4 to 30°, wherein Fx(θ) and Fy(θ) represent the light-scattering characteristics in an X-axial direction and Y-axial direction of the film, respectively. The film comprises a light-diffusing layer composed of a plurality of resins which are different from each other in refractive index, and a transparent layer laminated on at least one side thereof.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to provide a driving circuit and driving method for a LCD having high performance of moving image displaying within few amount of memory and downscaled circuit. In the present invention, a voltage applied to a pixel to drive liquid crystal material in the pixel is determined as a voltage with which the transparency of the pixel at the end of the current field becomes the designated transparency. To determine the voltage, a data table for quick response in which output data is stored in correspondence with some of the possible value of a preceding field image data and some of the possible value of the current field image data is employed, and the output data corresponding to the preceding field image data and the current field image data is determined by the data table through linear interpolation. The voltage corresponding to the output data is applied to the pixel.

Each of the prisms has a prism angle so that the angle of incidence of the light guided from the lamp into the light guide plate is the Brewster angle of the prisms.
