A roller screw is provided having a structure suitable for circulating rollers. The roller screw has a screw shaft 5 with a spiral roller rolling groove 5a formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof; a nut 6 with a spiral roller rolling groove 6a opposed to the roller rolling groove of the screw shaft and formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof; and a plurality of rollers 7 arranged in a load roller rolling path 9 between the roller rolling groove 5a of the screw shaft 5 and the roller rolling groove 6a of the nut 6. Inside the nut 6 is provided a roller return path 11 extending linearly in parallel with an axis line of the nut 6. To opposite end faces in an axis line direction of the nut 6 are attached direction change path forming members 13 in which direction change paths 10 to connect the load roller rolling path 9 and the roller return path 11 are formed. The roller return path 11 is twisted to rotate an attitude of each of the rollers 7 while the rollers 7 move in the roller return path 11.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A roller screw includes: a screw shaft 1 having an outer peripheral surface in which a spiral roller rolling groove 1a is formed; a nut member 2 having an inner peripheral surface in which a spiral loaded roller rolling groove 2a is formed so as to oppose to the roller rolling groove 1a; a return pipe 4 connecting one and another ends of a loaded roller rolling groove 2a of the nut member 2; and a plurality of rollers 6 disposed in the loaded roller rolling passage 3 and the return pipe 4. A spacer 31 is disposed between a pair of adjacent rollers 6, 6 so as to prevent the paired rollers 6, 6 from contacting each other. According to such roller screw, the rollers can be smoothly circulated without causing any skew.
Abstract:
A screw device manufacturing method ensures high productivity and adequate nut strength. The disclosed screw shaft manufacturing method includes: a groove forming step of forming a loaded ball rolling groove in a flat plate; and a nut forming step of bending the flat plate into a ring to form a nut. As the groove forming step of forming of the loaded ball rolling in the flat plate is followed by the nut forming step of bending the flat plate into a ring, sufficient strength of the nut can be easily achieved. Besides, a high compression stress is left in the loaded ball rolling groove in the inner surface of the nut.

Abstract:
There is provided a roller screw comprising a screw shaft 1 having an outer peripheral surface in which a spiral roller rolling groove 1a is formed, a nut member 2 having an inner peripheral surface in which a spiral loaded roller rolling groove 2a is formed so as to oppose to the roller rolling groove of the screw shaft, a return pipe 4 in which a roller return passage 5 is formed so as to connect one and another ends of a loaded roller rolling passage 3 between the roller rolling groove 1a of the screw shaft 1 and the loaded roller rolling groove 2a of the nut member 2, a number of rollers 6 disposed in the loaded roller rolling passage 3 and the roller return passage 5, wherein the roller return passage 5 is twisted so that an attitude of the roller 6 changes as the roller moves in an axial direction of the return pipe 4. Such roller screw enables to provide an easy assembling and compact structure and to realize smooth circulation of the roller.
Abstract:
An electric actuator is provided with a power transmission mechanism capable of converting a rotating driving power supplied from an electric motor to a reciprocating motion. This power transmission mechanism is provided with a cylindrical member formed, in its inner peripheral surface, with at least one row of rolling member rolling groove, a nut member disposed to be reciprocally through the rolling members endlessly circulating in the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member, and a cylinder rod operatively connected to an end portion of the nut member to be axially movable with respect to the cylindrical member. The reciprocating motion of the nut member in the axial direction is guided by the circular cylindrical member. According to such structure, high output and high controllability can be realized, as well as realizing of a compact electric actuator of a size similar to a conventional hydraulic cylinder.
Abstract:
There are provided a rail (10) in which a rolling member rolling surface (11) is formed along the longitudinal direction, a block (20) in which a loaded rolling member rolling surface (27) is formed in an opening (25) comprising a through hole, a plurality of balls (70) disposed and housed between the rolling member rolling surface (11) and the loaded rolling member rolling surface (27) which circulate according to the relative motion of the rail (10) and the block (20). A sectional shape at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the rail (10) and a sectional shape of the opening (25) are formed into a mutually geometrically similar longitudinal shape. The block (20) is a box type with high rigidity. A contact angle of the ball (70) can be optionally changed by changing the positions alone of the rolling member rolling surface 11 and the loaded rolling member rolling surface (27) to be machined on one type of the block (20) and the rail (10).
