摘要: A flat belt provides an endless traction suitable for conveyor belts, and has no fabric insert in the force transmission region. In some embodiment it has no fabric insert in the back of the belt. The flat belt is formed by a multistage method which includes forming a flat belt with a main body and endless tension member elements, by a rotary vulcanization process, and subsequently forming at least a part of the force transmission region on the flat belt. The flat belt may be used in agricultural machines which convey agricultural harvested material.

摘要: An apparatus dispenses a raw material in liquid form into a manufacturing zone. The raw material is, by computer-controlled, point-by-point targeted light irradiation, heated and solidified by the region of incidence of a light beam relative to the manufacturing zone being altered in a continuous and/or in a step-by-step manner. The light beam is emitted from the light beam source, or from an optical unit influencing the light of the light beam source, with a substantially ring-shaped light intensity profile. The ring-shaped light intensity profile is formed by a ring-shaped region in which the light intensity initially increases in the direction toward the center of the ring from the outer diameter and then drops off again toward the inner diameter of the ring, with the light intensity being equal to zero in the interior region of the ring.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for recycling used lithium batteries containing the steps: (a) digestion of comminuted material (10), which contains comminuted components of electrodes of lithium batteries, using concentrated sulphuric acid (12) at a digestion temperature (TA) of at least 100° C., in particular at least 140° C., so that waste gas (14) and a digestion material (16) are produced, (b) discharge of the waste gas (14) and (c) wet chemical extraction of at least one metallic component of the digestion material (16).

摘要: A wearable device measures, tracks, and monitors a wearer's physical physiological conditions during a rehabilitation period. Metrics such as temperature, patellar shifting, limb circumference, and acceleration may be collected. Changes in monitored conditions may be assessed for detecting medical abnormalities which require specialized attention, including for example embolisms or infections. A networked communication system and various user interfaces may be used for medical support personnel and patients alike to stay updated with the patient's rehabilitation progress and to make adjustments in a patient's individual rehabilitation program.

摘要: An arrangement and process of mitigating contaminants has a flow element intermediate a first space with contaminated matter (including contaminated gas) and a second space. Contaminated matter is drawn from the first space into the flow element and then urged into segregated contaminated gas and residual contaminated matter collected in the second space. Segregated contaminated gas is merged with gas from the second space to form mixed gas and treated to form primary treated gas which is directed to generate at least some of the drawing of contaminated matter from the first space into the flow element. Mixed gas can be treated by passing it through passages in the flow element coated with decontaminating agent and/or through a decontamination unit. The flow element allows for air flow to effectively act as a one-way barrier obstructing migration of contaminated matter from the second space back to the first space.
