    摘要: An autoclave for pressure oxidation of a slurried material including at least one sulfide material, and a method. The autoclave includes a pressure vessel for receiving the slurried material. The pressure vessel includes compartments being arranged horizontally one after the another and separated by dividers. Each divider is provided with an upper edge or at least one opening that defines level of the slurried material in the compartment. An inlet is arranged for feeding oxygen-containing gas into the pressure vessel. An agitator arrangement is arranged for agitating the slurried material in at least one of the compartments, the agitator arrangement including at least an upper impeller and a lower impeller, the impellers arranged along a vertically aligned shaft. The upper impeller is arranged at a height above the mid-level of one of the compartments, and the upper impeller is an upward pumping axial or mixed flow impeller.

    摘要: A process is provided for obtaining a hematite-containing material that can be used for ironmaking. The process includes separating a leach residue from a hydrometallurgical refining plant into an overflow and an underflow using a wet cyclone under a condition that the wet cyclone is adjusted to have a setting between 1 μm or less and 2 μm or less as a classification particle size for the overflow. The process then includes separating the overflow into a strong magnetic substance and a weak magnetic substance using a strong-magnetic-field magnetic separator under a condition that magnetic field intensity is 5 to 20 [kGauss]. The process then includes using a superheated steam drying system for adjusting a moisture content of the strong magnetic substance after the separation, to be 10 wt % to 17 wt %.

    摘要: A method for recovering base metal values from oxide ore is provided by the present disclosure. The ore includes a first metal selected from the group consisting at least one of iron and aluminum and a second metal selected from the group consisting of at least one of nickel, cobalt and copper. The method includes the steps of: contacting the oxide ore with hydrogen chloride gas to obtain chlorides of the first and second metals and subjecting at least the first and second metals to pyrohydrolysis at a predetermined temperature to decompose the chlorides of the first metal into oxides. The method also includes the step of mixing the oxides of the first metal and the chlorides of the second metal in an aqueous solution to dissolve the chlorides of the second metal and recovering the dissolved ions of the second metal from the aqueous solution.

The present invention includes: a pulverizing/classifying step of pulverizing raw material ores and classifying the resulting ores at a predetermined classifying point so that oversized ore particles are removed so as to obtain a coarse ore slurry composed of undersized ore particles; a grain size measuring step of measuring the grain size of the resulting coarse ore slurry; and an ore slurry condensing step of loading the coarse ore slurry to a solid-liquid separation device and separating and removing moisture contained in the coarse ore slurry therefrom so as to condense ore components.
