    摘要: The present invention relates to a toothed belt (1) having a belt body (10) which extends substantially in a longitudinal direction (X) and which comprises a flexible material, wherein at least one tension member (13), preferably a plurality of tension members (13), is at least substantially embedded in the flexible material of the belt body (10) in the longitudinal direction (X) and is at least substantially enclosed by the flexible material of the belt body (10), wherein the belt body (10) has a toothed side (11) with teeth (14) and tooth spaces (15) which alternate in the longitudinal direction (X). The toothed belt (1) is characterized in that a minimum thickness (a) of the flexible material of the belt body (10) in the vertical direction (Z) on the tension member (13) of at least one tooth space (15), preferably of all tooth spaces (15), corresponds at least to a minimum thickness (h) of the flexible material of the belt body (10) in the vertical direction (Z) on the tension member (13), wherein the minimum thickness (h) is calculated as follows in dependence on the thickness (d) of the tension member (13) in the vertical direction (Z) and on the material hardness (ShA) of the flexible material of the belt body (10) in Shore A:

    h=3*d/ShA.

    摘要: The invention is used to manufacture a drive belt. To this end, mould core (1) and outer mould (20) of a casting tool (G) are provided. In the case of mould core (1) inserted into the outer mould (20), a cavity (22) is formed in the casting tool (G). The mould core (1) or the outer mould (20) are provided with a geometry (2) to be represented on the drive belt. Said geometry has projections (3a, 3b) protruding from a base surface (8) and arranged spaced apart from one another, which have a head surface (7) and lateral surfaces (5, 6) which each delimit a gap (4) of the geometry (2) with in each case a base surface (8) present between two adjacent projections (3a, 3b). A textile layer (12) is laid on the geometry (2), which is supported on the head surfaces (7) and in each case extends with a section (13) over the gaps (4). A tension member (13) is laid on the textile layer (12) such that the textile layer (12) is fixed between the tension member (14) and the respective head surface (7). At the same time, an intermediate space (17) between the section (13) of the textile layer (12) extending over the gap (4) and the section (18) of the tension member (14) spanning the gap (4) is delimited in each gap (4). The cavity (22) and the intermediate spaces (17) are filled with a castable elastomer base material (B) after inserting the thus provided mould core (1) into the outer mould (20). As a result, the sections (13) of the textile layer (12) are pressed by the elastomer base material (B) against the lateral surfaces (5, 6) of the projections (3a, 3b) and the assigned base surface (8) of the respective gap (4). The drive belt sleeve obtained can be demoulded after the base material has solidified.

    摘要: A toothed belt includes a toothed profile made of a base material and defining a toothed profile drive side and a far side facing away from the drive side. A woven ply has a thickness and is applied to the far side of the toothed profile. The woven ply has a first side in contact with the far side causing the base material to penetrate the woven ply at least partly at the first side thereof. The woven ply has a second side facing away from the first side. A coating of plastic on the second side causes the plastic to penetrate the woven ply at least partly at the second side. The base material and the plastic each penetrate the woven ply to an extent to cause the woven ply to be free of the base material and the plastic in an inner lying thickness region thereof.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing drive belts from different materials by means of casting processes. To this end, a mould core and an outer mould of a casting tool are provided. The circumferential surface of the mould core or the inner circumferential surface of the outer mould is provided with a geometry to be represented on the drive belt. A textile layer is laid on the geometry. The mould core is set into the outer mould so that the mould core and the outer mould define a cavity between them. Optionally, a tension member can be arranged in the cavity and the cavity can be sealed with respect to the environment at least in the region of the geometry to be represented on the drive belt. The textile layer is applied to the surfaces defining the geometry and an elastomer base material is introduced into the cavity.

    摘要: A synchronous belt with a tensile member layer having a tensile member embedded in an elastomeric body; a toothed surface with a plurality of regularly spaced, transverse teeth protruding from the body; and a jacket covering the toothed surface; wherein the teeth comprise a plurality of fabric insert layers that increase the stiffness of the tooth, the insert layers separated from each other by layers of an elastomer composition. The layers may be oriented parallel to the tensile member layer, perpendicular to the tensile member, or following the contour of the tooth. The layers may be a single piece of fabric folded into layers, or separate pieces of fabric.
