摘要: A gaming machine uses a trading card 20. The trading card 20 stores character data concerning a character and has a surface printed with a detail of the character data. A trading card handling device 60 writes changed character data into the trading card 20 in response to a change in character data according to a state of proceeding with a game. A printing device 49 prints detail of the changed character data onto the surface of the trading card 20. A heating device 68 is for erasing the detail of the character data printed previously at the time of printing. A player can grasp details of character data stored in the trading card and changes thereof without depending on the gaming machine to read the trading card.

摘要: An electronic endoscope apparatus which records image data of an object under observation on a recording medium has an image storage memory capable of storing current image data for at least one examination in response to an image capture command and transfers the image data from the image storage memory to the recording medium and erases the image data stored in the image storage memory at the time of the first image capture during the next examination after an electronic scope is turned on. The image data stored in the image storage memory may also be erased at the time of the first image capture after new patient data is inputted or after the number of recorded images is reset.

摘要: A high sensitivity, three-dimensional gamma ray detection and imaging system is provided. The system uses the Compton double scatter technique with recoil electron tracking. The system preferably includes two detector subassemblies; a silicon microstrip hodoscope and a calorimeter. In this system the incoming photon Compton scatters in the hodoscope. The second scatter layer is the calorimeter where the scattered gamma ray is totally absorbed. The recoil electron in the hodoscope is tracked through several detector planes until it stops. The x and y position signals from the first two planes of the electron track determine the direction of the recoil electron while the energy loss from all planes determines the energy of the recoil electron.

摘要: Fast microbial detection is accomplished by identifying quantities of microorganisms accurately and easily.A cell 5 is placed on a loading portion. A coherent laser beam source 2 emits laser beam to a cell 5. A CCD area image sensor 4 is an array of light sensitive detectors. An image sensor 4 receives light projection image that passes through a cell 5 illuminated by the beam from a laser beam source 2, generating projection image signals on each light sensitive detectors. The projection image data is fed into a computer and analyzed.

摘要: An artificial nail or decorative cover is used to cover a clip set. The clip set combines the nail cover or decorative cover with a plastic clip. The nail cover is a cover body with an outer surface curved like a human nail and has a wall running sideways at an inner surface of the cover. A fitting ditch between the inner surface of the cover and the thin plate wall is provided on the thin plate wall. This artificial nail cover or decorative cover can be also attached with the plastic clip to cover the clip set.

摘要: In the process of fabricating an SOI wafer based on the Smart Cut® Process, a stack 34 of an SOI wafer 39 and a residual wafer 38 are separated into the individual wafers using a wafer separation jig 1 of this invention. The wafer separation jig 1 comprises a supporting plane 1p on which the stack 34 is supported in the thickness-wise direction, and a stepped portion 2 disposed on the supporting plane 1p, and having a height adjusted so as to stop movement-by-sliding of the lower wafer of the stack, but so as to allow movement-by-sliding of the upper wafer relative to the lower wafer. Both wafers are separated from each other by inclining the supporting plane 1p with the stack 34 placed thereon, so as to allow the upper wafer to move by sliding as being driven by its own weight in the in-plane direction relative to the lower wafer. This method is successful in effectively suppressing friction between the wafers, and thus in preventing the wafer surface from being scratched.

摘要: The apparatus according to the present invention includes a level adjusting circuit that increases a gain of a G (or B) signal output from a color conversion circuit, a binarization circuit that forms a binarized image from this G signal and an edge detection circuit that extracts blood vessel position signals through edge detection based on this binarized signal. Then, the apparatus extracts RGB color signals making up a blood vessel image by using the above-described blood vessel position signals, increases the gains of these blood vessel color signals and then adds the blood vessel color signals to the color signals of an original image. This allows blood vessels to be displayed in high contrast to mucous membranes, etc. Furthermore, the apparatus can also amplify the R signal and B signal by using a signal obtained by differentiating the above-described G signal as a gain signal to highlight blood vessels.

摘要: When a p-type MgxZn1-xO-type layer is grown based on a metal organic vapor-phase epitaxy process, the p-type MgxZn1-xO-type layer is annealed in an oxygen-containing atmosphere during and/or after completion of the growth of the p-type MgxZn1-xO-type layer. In addition, a vapor-phase epitaxy process of a semiconductor layer is proceed while irradiating ultraviolet light to the surface of a substrate to be grown and source gasses. In addition, when a MgxZn1-xO-type buffer layer that is oriented so as to align the c-axis thereof to a thickness-wise direction is formed by an atomic layer epitaxy process, a metal monoatomic layer is grown at first. In addition, a ZnO-base semiconductor active layer is formed by using a semiconductor material mainly composed of ZnO containing Se or Te. A light emitting device is formed by using these techniques.
