    摘要: The present invention generally relates to detecting malicious network activity coming from network devices such as routers and firewalls. Specifically, embodiments of the present invention provide for detecting stealth malware on a network device by comparing inbound and outbound network traffic to discover packets originating from the network device and packets that violate configuration rules. When combined with a network traffic monitor server configured to monitor actual network traffic reports and to receive known network traffic reports from host computers, the system can detect stealth network traffic originating from both network devices and host computer systems.

    摘要: A security device for monitoring the radio frequency signals generated by mobile phones and similar mobile computing and communication devices. The security device employs an antennae array and computer process that are configured to detect and provide a “fingerprint” for a mobile device based on the unique identifiers contained with the radio and other wireless signals utilized by such mobile device. The “fingerprint” that is obtained can be used to keep track of mobile devices as those devices enter and leave the area of the security device. Moreover, the security device can provide an alert when any new, foreign, or otherwise unrecognized device is within range of the security device and share “fingerprints” and alerts with other security devices in its network.

    摘要: Apparatus and associated methods relate to estimating the key image degree of adequacy of a captured image as a function of tissue image features and a degree of abnormality based on the tissue image features for each image of a real-time series of images captured by an imaging system, and automatically identifying key images based on the key image degree of adequacy. In an illustrative example, the image may be captured by an ultrasound imaging device. The tissue may be, for example, breast tissue examined to detect cancer. In various implementations, the key image degree of adequacy may be determined based on tissue features representative of diseased tissue, and a key image may be selected based on a degree of abnormality determined as a function of the diseased tissue features. Various examples may advantageously provide faster, less expensive, and more accurate initial disease detection by non-radiologist operators.

    摘要: Embodiment apparatus and associated methods relate to automatically improving the quality of a segmented audio stream containing a desired signal, based on filtering an audio segment with an audio filter configured to remove a predetermined noise, and adapting the audio filter degree of noise removal determined as a function of a characteristic of the desired signal in the audio segment. In an illustrative example, the desired signal may be human voice. The predetermined noise may be, for example, wireless ring, hum, or tick resulting from a wireless microphone. In various implementations, the desired signal characteristic may be voice activity detected in the audio segment, and the audio filter degree of noise removal may be adapted as a function of the voice activity. Various examples may advantageously provide faster and more accurate vocal dialog editing in sound production procedures such as ADR (known as Alternative Dialog Replacement, or, Additional Dialog Recording).
