摘要: This is a new technique of producing high energy X-rays for radiation therapy at a patient's level. The dose delivery system uses a linear accelerator with no flattening filter. The technique improves patient radiation therapy by reducing radiation scattered to surrounding normal tissue and reducing electron contamination. It increases dose rate to shorten treatment time. The flattening filter reduces the efficiency of the beam by reducing the fluence and increasing scattered radiation. This technique involves removal of the flattening filter. It uses inverse planning to shape the dose distribution.

The retractor blade has a hinge allowing it to flex and thereby allow a lateral approach to the discs at L1-L2 and L4-L5 despite the angle to these discs caused by coming in under the ribs or over the iliac crest.

摘要: The process involves the use of specifically selected coke precursor compounds from the front end of oil distillate fractions that contain C11 to C14 hydrocarbons and their use as additives in the processing of naphtha in a catalytic reformer. The C11 to C14 compounds additives enhance coke make in continuous catalytic regeneration (CCR) reformers to levels higher than those which are usually produced in low coke naphtha reforming operations. With the increase of ethanol blending in gasoline and low reformate octane severity operations, reformers do not produce the necessary amount of coke to permit sustaining steady state white burn operations.

摘要: This gauge well mixer works off of the differential pressure in a storage tank and gauge well. Slot covers with dividers are installed in the gauge well. The slot covers and dividers are staggered for better mixing. The gauge well has a vertical interior space extending the length of thereof; wherein the slots open into the vertical, interior space. A first horizontal divider is located in the vertical, interior space below a first slot; and a second horizontal divider is located in the vertical, interior space above a second slot. The slot covers are installed on slots located between the first slot and the second slot.
