摘要: A method includes utilizing a detection device comprising a detection mat having a plurality of detection coils, and at least one pair of groups of detection coils having a first group of detection coils and a second group of detection coils, and where the first group of detection coils includes a first impedance value, and a second group of detection coils includes a second impedance value. The method further includes determining alignment parameters representative of electromagnetic coupling between at least one pair of groups of detection coils of the detection mat and an electromagnetic field generated by an apparatus coil, and comparing the alignment parameters with a reference. The method also includes generating a control signal indicative of an alignment position of the apparatus coil with respect to the detection mat based on the compared alignment parameters.

摘要: Quality factors associated with formation pressure measurements at various depths in the geologic formation are determined based on one or more well logs of formation properties in a geologic formation. A formation testing tool with two or more probes is positioned in a borehole of the geologic formation based on the quality factors. The two or more probes in the borehole perform respective formation pressure measurements, where each formation pressure measurement is performed at a different depth. The formation pressure measurements and the given distance between the two or more probes indicate a formation pressure gradient.

摘要: Light from a light source that has interacted with a sample of downhole fluid provided in a downhole optical tool is sequentially passed through a plurality of groups of light filters, each of the groups of light filters including of one or more light filters, to generate a data set for each of the groups of light filters, also referred to as a simultaneous channel group. The data generated for each of the simultaneous channel groups is then analyzed to determine if the data from that simultaneous channel groups is effective in providing information useful for the analysis of the sample of downhole fluid.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a wireless power transmission apparatus that supports charging of one or more wireless power receiving apparatuses. The wireless power transmission apparatus may include multiple primary coils organized in groups (referred to as zones). Each zone may have a local controller for managing operation of one primary coil in the zone at a time. A master controller may selectively couple the primary coils to the local controllers. When a first primary coil is coupled to the local controller for a zone, the other primary coils in that zone may be disabled. The master controller may manage which primary coils from neighboring zones are coupled to their respective local controllers. Thus, when the first primary coil is activated, the adjacent primary coils (near the first primary coil) can be muted or disabled to mitigate undesirable interference.
