摘要: A felling unit and a method of harvesting small-dimensioned wood in a forest. A felling unit comprises a cutting device with two disc blades and a cutting gap between them for cutting small-dimensioned trees. The cut small-dimensioned trunks are transferred from the cutting gap to a temporary storage space by means of a transfer device comprising two transfer shafts with a transfer gap between them. The disc blades and the transfer shafts are both rotated in opposite directions relative to each other, i.e. towards the cutting gap and the feeding gap.

摘要: A camera device connection structure includes a circuit board, a lens assembly and a case assembly. The lens assembly is disposed on upper side of the circuit board and has a first mating section and a second mating section respectively disposed on two opposite sides of the lens assembly. The case assembly has a first case body and a second case body. The first and second case bodies are disposed on the upper side of the circuit board and respectively positioned on two sides of the lens assembly. The first and second case bodies respectively have a first connection section and a second connection section corresponding to the lens assembly. The first and second connection sections are respectively connected with the first and second mating sections of the lens assembly, whereby the structural strength of the camera device can be still enhanced in precondition that the camera device is thinned.

摘要: The present device provides a safe, effective means of mobile ultraviolet (UV) disinfection. A control board within the main body of the device receives data from sensors that may variously measure orientation and speed of the main body as it moves along various surfaces for disinfection. In response to such data, the control board may brighten, dim, or completely shut off UV light-emitting diodes (UVLEs), both to prevent over- and under-exposure of the materials being disinfected, and to prevent a user from unsafely using the device.

摘要: A lens element and a one-piece contact apparatus having a lens element and a holding device for fixing a patient's eye to a laser applicator of an ophthalmological laser therapy system and a corresponding production method. The production method is conceptually simple and user-friendly and allows a high degree of automation while at the same time meeting the high requirements for mechanical and optical precision of the lens element. The lens element has an optically effective zone and a joining zone. The joining zone also has a functional zone for joining the lens element to a holding device which is arranged continuously circumferentially or interrupted circumferentially at the outer edge of the lens element. The contact apparatus includes a lens element and a holding device, which are permanently connected to one another, wherein the lens element and the holding device are not connected to one another by adhesive-bonding.

摘要: Methods for diagnosing propensity to exhibit acquired peripheral neuropathy in dogs are described. The methods and kits test dogs for presence of a disease-associated genomic variant. Presence of the genomic variant indicates an increased likelihood of the dog developing an acquired peripheral neuropathy. This information can be used to guide preemptive clinical treatment of the animal for peripheral neuropathy and to choose dogs for selective breeding programs.

摘要: Methods and related apparatus for providing a chemical intervention processing solution for use within processing tanks. Processing tanks can include side streams or ancillary systems for generating the chemical intervention processing solution that can then be introduced into the processing tanks. The antimicrobial agents will be added and mixed in the side stream to form the chemical intervention processing solution. Additional actions can be conducted on the processing solution within the side stream including any and or all of heating, pumping, sampling, measuring, testing and pH adjustment of the processing solution. The chemical intervention processing solution can also be provided by a venturi injector that combines processing water and an antimicrobial agent and/or an alkaline agent outside of the processing tank. The processing solution can be used for various food processing applications.
