    摘要: A method of UU message transfer for fast call setup. The method includes encapsulating a Service Request into a RRC Connection Request. When a UE starts the service sensitive to call setup delay, the RRC layer encapsulates the Service Request into IDT. If this encapsulation is successful, the RRC connection request message undergoes non-critical extension, and the encapsulated IDT is disposed into the extended portion. The RNC, after receiving the extended RRC connection request, extracts the IDT message from the extended RRC CONNECTION REQUEST and sends it to the CN.

    摘要: A technique is provided for automatic frequency offset correction in a wireless communication system. After demodulating and decoding a received signal in a receiver, channel estimation is also performed. The technique further includes re-encoding and re-modulating the decoded and demodulated signal with a coding and modulation scheme different from the received signal. The signal is reconstructed signal on the basis of the re-encoded and re-modulated signal and estimated channel characteristics. A frequency error is estimated based on the reconstructed signal and the original received signal. A threshold for a comparator is determined on the basis of the estimated offset amount determined by the comparison threshold and the estimated frequency offset.

When a UE starts the service sensitive to call setup delays, the RRC Connection Request undergoes non-critical extension. The Service Request and necessary Access Stratum (AS) information are disposed into the extended portion. The RNC, after receiving the extended RRC connection request, extracts the IDT message from the extended RRC Connection Request and sends it to the CN.

A particular method includes determining early termination based on the value of a sum of absolute difference (SAD0). The method also includes performing motion prediction using a motion vector from a previous frame as a prediction point. The method further includes using the prediction point as the center to obtain the integral motion vector by conducting a 3×3 cross searching until a minimum sum of absolute difference (minSAD) is located at the center of the cross and predicting a location of a half-pixel point based upon a point corresponding to the integral motion vector, values of the minimum sum of absolute difference of other four cross points.

    摘要: A high dynamic range low noise direct conversion transmitter within a multimode apparatus having multiple transmit and receive operating modes is described. The direct conversion transmitter can include a digital baseband coupled to a low noise direct conversion stage. A high dynamic range current folding digital to analog converter can be used to convert the digital baseband signals to analog representations. A wide dynamic range variable gain baseband amplifier couples the baseband signal to the direct conversion stage. A controllable passive attenuation stage operates to provide further gain control. Carrier feedthrough can be substantially eliminated using a carrier feedthrough cancellation loop that selectively utilizes one of a plurality of receivers configured for one of the multiple receive modes.
