摘要: A heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer composition having an MFR2 of 1.0 to 5.0 g/10 min, a C2 content of 0.8 to 6.0 mol-%, and a Tm of 153.0 to 159.0° C., comprising: a) a crystalline matrix (M) being a propylene homo- or copolymer, preferably a homopolymer; and b) an amorphous propylene-ethylene elastomer (E); wherein the heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer composition is characterized in terms of its soluble fraction (SF) and crystalline fraction (CF) as determined by CRYSTEX QC analysis: i) from 85.0 to 90.0 wt.-% of a crystalline fraction (CF) having an iV(CF) of 2.00 to 3.00 dl/g, a C2(CF) of 0.0 to 1.5 mol-%; and ii) from 10.0 to 15.0 wt.-% of a soluble fraction (SF) having an iV(SF) of 1.30 to 2.50 dl/g and a C2(SF) of 25.0 to 40.0 mol-%.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a polyolefin composition which provides improved contrast of laser marks. It is suitable for many applications where precise marking of a molded article made of a polyolefin composition is required, e.g. as outer layer of a wire or cable or in automotive applications. The polyolefin composition of the present invention comprises a polyolefin, carbon black in an amount of 0.25 to 1.0 wt % and an optical brightener in an amount of 0.001 to 0.1 wt %. The present invention is further directed to a molded article comprising the polyolefin composition of the present invention. Further on, the present invention is directed to the use of the polyolefin composition of the present invention as an outer layer of a cable. Finally, the present invention is directed to a method of inducing print on a molded article by laser printing.

摘要: The invention provides a process for the preparation of a multimodal high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a melt flow rate (MFR2) of 0.1 to 4.0 g/10 min, said process comprising: (i) polymerising ethylene in a first polymerisation stage in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst to prepare a first ethylene homopolymer having a MFR2 from 10 to 500 g/10 min; (ii) polymerising ethylene in a second polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said first ethylene homopolymer to prepare an ethylene homopolymer mixture comprising said first ethylene homopolymer and a second ethylene homopolymer, said mixture having a MFR2 from 50 to 1000 g/10 min; and (iii) polymerising ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin comonomer in a third polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said ethylene homopolymer mixture to prepare said multimodal HDPE.
