The current state of the art ice-cram bar machines have a tank full with a fluid kept at low temperatures, with a mechanical shaker, which moves the referred fluid, thus freezing the mixture of ice-cream bars within the stainless steel molds immersed in this tank; during this process, the sticks that will be part of the final product are inserted. After freezing, the molds are removed from the freezing tank and inserted into a tank filled with hot water for unmolding, extraction and later packing.

摘要： A device is described for conveying sticks in an apparatus for inserting sticks into ice cream bodies, said device comprising guide means in which the sticks are supplied in the form of an elongate stack of sticks, and from which guide means the sticks are destacked singly, said device further comprising a conveying belt, said destacked sticks being deposited in a pocket on said conveying belt moving past the exit aperture of the guide means, said conveying belt comprising a plurality of pockets, wherein each pocket has a longitudinal surface for housing a part of one stick, and each pocket furthermore has at least two guide pins projecting upwards on each side of said longitudinal surface. Hereby the sticks are handled without problems, even at high rates of destacking and conveying, and even if the sticks are skewed or in other manner deviate from a standard stick having dimensions and shape in common with at least the majority of the sticks in a given stack.

摘要： Apparatus (1) and method for moulding lollipops, the apparatus comprising stick receiving means (6) and a mould forming surface (3) of a mould (15), the stick receiving means being mounted for pivotal movement relative to the mould forming surface through substantially ninety degrees. In use the apparatus is passed around a circuit (34) and engagement between the apparatus and a cam track (35) is such that a stick held by the stick receiving means is pivoted through substantially ninety degrees into the mould so that confectionery material can be poured into the mould and around the stick. As the apparatus further progresses around the circuit the formed lollipop is pivoted out of the mould for release from the stick receiving means.

The spindle is located and extends along and about an axis of the former within the ice confectionery stream and rotates about the axis and also translates axially in a reciprocating movement so that patterns of the material are formed in the ice confectionery to obtain a composite product having material inclusion zones and inclusion-free zones, and the composite product so-pumped is extruded via the die, to provide a strand which has a cross-section given by the die outlet opening, and then the strand is cut to provide slabs.

摘要： Molding apparatus for forming and preparing frozen food products from liquids having at least one or more containers forming compartments for freezing the liquids has coacting cover and holder assemblies for each of the containers shaped to define a reservoir for collecting portions of melted frozen food product and having an elongated member connected in the generally longitudinal line of the cover and holder assembly so that the portion thereof exterior of the cover and holder assembly forms a handle and the portion extending through the interior of the cover and handle assembly forms an anchor on which the frozen food product is formed so that the frozen food product and the cover and holder assembly can be removed together, to enable the frozen food product to be consumed, and a passageway in the anchor having one end in communication with the reservoir in the cover and holder assembly and the opposite or remote end forms an access opening, and a removable or consumable sealing member maintains the passageway normally closed until the access opening end of the passageway is exposed during consumption of the frozen food product. The removable or consumable sealing member may be an edible confection, a formed plug, a rod which respectively fit or occlude the opening in the concealed access opening end and the adjacent portion of the passageway.
