Abstract:
Drive assembly for door and window frames, comprising at least one actuating member and at least one transmission rod fastened to the actuating member, The transmission rod comprises a central portion and two lateral portions positioned at opposite sides relative to the central portion and forming two channel-shaped longitudinal guides, the central portion having a longitudinal groove positioned between the longitudinal guides, the longitudinal groove of the central portion being closed by a base. The transmission member has a connecting portion including two longitudinal ribs with ends shaped in such a way as to establish a telescopic coupling with the longitudinal guides of the transmission rod and a central portion positioned between said ribs and provided with a threaded hole in which is inserted a screw having a tip that is able to cut a hole in the base of the transmission rod at said longitudinal groove.
Abstract:
The description relates to a snap fastening for fixing a thin wall, such as a housing wall, door leaf, shutter, or the like, which is provided with an opening, to a wall support such as a housing frame, door frame, wall opening edge, or the like, which is likewise provided with an opening, with a base part that can be arranged at the wall support in its opening, with a head part which extends away from this base part and which has a diameter that initially increases and then decreases again in its longitudinal section from the end of the head part in direction of the base part, which head part is a male plug-in part which, by overcoming a spring force acting radially outward in direction of the diameter, can be received by an undercut female plug-in part that is formed or carried by the opening of the thin wall. The head part is a guide or channel for one or two or more push elements or holding elements which are pushed by means of at least one spring into a position in which they project out over the end of the guide or channel, and the ends of the push elements or holding elements projecting from the guide or channel are triangular or ball-shaped in a projection plane extending perpendicular to the thin wall.
Abstract:
A locking handle which is in particular provided for a motor vehicle comprises a star handle which is rotatably supported around an axle and to which one or more locking rods are fastened. An improved locking handle of this type comprises a longitudinally displaceably guided slide actuator with an actuator part. An engagement part is provided at the star handle.
Abstract:
A locking system for a door of an enclosure has a handle, lock, and locking bolts mounted to the door, door jams mounted to the enclosure, dead bolts coupled to the locking bolts, and a blocking bolt coupled to the lock. When door is closed and handle is closed, then locking bolts are moved to locked position, such that door jams block path of locking bolts and thereby prevent door from being opened. When lock is unlocked, dead bolts can move toward each other allowing door to be opened. However, when lock is locked, door cannot be opened because blocking bolt, between dead bolts, prevents dead bolts from moving toward each other.
Abstract:
This latch device for an access panel door includes an open lever and a ratchet release lever pivotally mounted on a base plate by a first shaft, a lock lever pivotally mounted on the base plate by a second shaft, and a sliding pin displaceable between an engaged position and a disengaged potion. The release lever has first and second arms extending in a radial direction of the first shaft and connected to latch units. The lock lever shifts the sliding pin to an engaged position when the lock lever is in the unlocked position and shifts the sliding pin to a disengaged position when the lock lever is in the locked position. The sliding pin is slidably mounted in a slot formed on the first arm or the second arm.
Abstract:
A locking system is disclosed for a moveable member supported by a support frame, the support frame having an engagement surface, the locking system comprising a lock member and an input device adapted to be mounted on the moveable member, the input device being operably connected to the lock member. The input device is rotatable to move the lock member from a first position to a second position, the second position defining a locked position wherein the lock member is adapted to be in contact with the engagement surface. The locking system also includes a link arm and a spring that permits additional rotation of the input shaft after the lock member reaches the locked position.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device comprising between the rear edge (1a) of a vehicle door and the edge (12b) adjacent to said vehicle body at least a first element (2) including an electromagnet (2a) integral with one (1a) of said edges and opposite said electromagnet at least a second element (7) including a magnetic material (7a) integral with the other edge (12b), one of said first (2) and second (7) elements being mobile towards the other element when the electromagnet (2a) is powered with an electric current, the ends opposite said elements (2, 7) being shaped to be mutually nested into each other.
Abstract:
A multipoint mortise lock assembly includes an extended face piece mounted flush along the edge of a door, a mortise lock connected to the face piece, and a pair of hook bolt latch mechanisms mounted to the face piece above and below the mortise lock. An elongated actuator, which is preferably a flat rod slidingly mounted to the back of the face piece, acts to extend and retract the hook bolts in synchronism with a deadbolt in the mortise lock. The actuator is connected between a deadbolt arm in the mortise lock, which drives the deadbolt, and the hook bolt latch mechanisms. The deadbolt arm is driven conventionally, such as by a key or a thumb latch, and the design allows one hand operation of the multipoint mortise lock assembly.
Abstract:
A lock assembly comprising a housing, a control mechanism, one pin or two pins supported by the housing for shifting movement of the pin or of the two pins in a direction transverse to direction of movement of the control mechanism between a locked position and an unlocked position and a spring for each pin for enhancing the shifting movement of the corresponding pin toward the unlocked position and for automatically returning the corresponding pin toward the locked position upon release of the control mechanism. When the control mechanism is pushed manually, the pressure which is exerted upon pushing the control means compresses the spring around the pin or two pins which each shifts in a direction transverse to direction of movement of the control mechanism between the locked position and the unlocked position. Meanwhile, shifting of the pin or of the two pins permits the sliding of a cut-out section of the control mechanism until the pin or pins strike against the cut-out sections of the control mechanism. As soon as the movement is stopped, the pin or two pins which are acted on by the spring assume a position which assures locking. As soon as the control mechanism is released, the pin or two pins immediately and automatically return to the locked position again.
Abstract:
A convertible roof latching and switch operating system provides an actuator which moves a first latch toward a vehicle centerline and a second latch away from a vehicle centerline in order to engage their respective strikers. In another aspect of the present invention a movable handle is directly and mechanically coupled to the pair of latches. In a further aspect of the present invention, the handle also operates one or more switches which activate driving means for raising or lowering a convertible roof.
