摘要: A printer for printing a viscous material at predetermined positions forming a pattern on a substrate. The printer includes a frame, a device, mounted to the frame, having a number of perforations arranged to form the pattern, a support apparatus, coupled to the frame, that supports the substrate in a printing position beneath the device, and a material dispenser. The material dispenser has a chamber to contain the viscous material to be printed on the substrate. The chamber has an opening through which the viscous material is dispensed. The material dispenser is coupled to the frame, positioned over the device, and constructed and arranged to dispense the viscous material through the perforations in the device and onto the substrate. The material dispenser has a retraction device that prevents leakage of the viscous material from the opening after dispensing is complete.

摘要: A filling squeegee and a scraping squeegee are provided. The filling squeegee is moved in a state without contact with a surface of a mask thereby to fill a solder paste in openings of the mask, then the unnecessary solder paste on the surface of the mask is scraped by the scraping squeegee. The solder paste is prevented from being filled in the openings improperly or scraped improperly even if a speed of the squeegee is increased, so that the solder paste is printed stably on circuit boards.

摘要: A method of printing a print material on a surface of an object by placing the print material on a surface of a print mask having a plurality of holes, positioning the print mask relative to the object such that the print mask is near, and substantially parallel, to the surface of the object, moving at least one of a squeegee and a first combination of the print mask and the object relative to the other of the squeegee and the first combination, in a print direction along the surface of the print mask, while locally pressing, with the squeegee, the print mask against the surface of the object and pressing, with the squeegee, the print material along the surface of the print mask, so that a portion of the print material is printed on the surface of the object through the holes of the print mask, the method including the steps of locally pressing, with a mask-press member, the print mask against the surface of the object, at a position distant from the squeegee by a predetermined distance which assures that the mask-press member does not contact the print material being pressed by the squeegee, and moving at least one of a second combination of the squeegee and the mask-press member and the first combination of the print mask and the object relative to the other of the second combination and the first combination, in the print direction, such that the mask-press member precedes the squeegee in the print direction.

摘要: A printing agent within a through hole of a screen is smoothly and completely released out when separating the screen from a plate to be printed. 1. In a screen printing method, at a time of applying a printing agent to a plate to be printed by a movement of a squeegee, the plate to be printed is gradually separated from said screen from one side of the screen to the other side thereof step by step during a movement of the squeegee to a movement finishing end.

摘要: In a printing device in which a printing material is printed on or applied to a to-be-printed surface of a circuit board through a screen mask for printing having openings formed therein in a predetermined pattern, it is intended to reliably remove cream solder remaining in the openings in the screen mask. After an air suction mechanism (19) has its flow rate controlled by a flow rate controller (20). An air suction section (15) is lifted until its front end contacts with the screen mask (5), the air suction mechanism (19) starts cleaning by sucking air from the openings (6) in the screen mask (5). An inspecting camera (2) is used to observe the cream solder (4) remaining in the openings (6) after cleaning, and the air suction flow rate is controlled according to the results thereof to effect cleaning again.

摘要: Solder Paste, adhesives and other materials are screen printed onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's) during the assembly process for electronic circuit assemblies. Pressure forces may be applied to the material to aid in separating the material from the apertures within the stencil. The pressure forces are created from sound pressure waves generated from a vibrational energy source located some distance from the stencil. Examples of non-contacting vibrational energy sources include Ultrasonic transducers, horns, speakers, and tuning forks. Additional assistance to separate the material from the apertures may be applied by a vibrational source by contacting to the stencil. Examples of the contacting vibrational energy sources may be off-balanced motors, piezo-electric transducers, and mass-resonant vibrators.

摘要: The system comprises two oppositely working scraping blades (8, 9) fixed to a blade support (6, 7) for depositing a silk-screen printing product (18) via a screen (17) on a support (21) to be coated. According to the invention, each extremity of the blade support comprises means (28, 29) for fixing a cheek for confinement of the product. The cheek (24, 25) is a plate of flexible material which engages the screen (17) by means of its free edge, with a small spacing being saved between the blade and the plate. The plate is oriented in such a way that the silk-screen printing product (26, 27), which passes beyond the extremity of the blade during its passage under pressure on the screen, is brought back to within the screen in the work zone of the blade.

摘要: A printing screen assembly is provided with an integral shield to protect the ink which is dispensed on the top surface of the screen during the printing process. The mesh material is mounted on a frame member and coated with exposed emulsion with open areas for transferring ink to a glass substrate. A shield is mounted on a second frame member and positioned on the first frame member so that the shield is placed in parallel spaced-apart relationship with the mesh material. The frame members, the mesh material and the shield form an enclosed ink containment area to protect the ink from contamination during the printing process. For water-based ink, water vapor can be added to the containment area to maintain the ink at the desired relative humidity. An ink dispensing strip fits in the containment area between the shield and the mesh fabric of the screen. The shield must have sufficient elasticity such that the forces of the flood bar and squeegee of the printing press are transmitted to the ink and the mesh material of the screen. The process of manufacturing the printing screen assembly includes the step of forming the printing screen and the shield on two separate frame members.
