    摘要: An image forming apparatus transfers image data stored in a first storing part of a side of a first control part to a side of a writing engine. A second storing part temporarily stores the image data from said first storing part. When data stored in the second storing part reaches a data amount to be previously stored in order that continuous transfer of the image data to the side of the writing engine from the second storing part is available at a predetermined transfer rate, even when a predetermined delay occurs in a transfer operation of the image data from the first storing part to the second storing part, reading of the image data from the second storing part is started for starting image forming operation.

When the available capacity is judged to be not more than the predetermined value, the storage method selection unit prompts the selection of a storage method, the storage method change unit changes the storage method of the image data, and the image data output unit outputs image data.

The transmitting unit associates the image data with the wireless tag data on a page basis to transmit the associated image data and wireless tag data to another device. The detecting unit detects the data size of the wireless tag data as size information. The data-size notifying unit notifies the another device of the size information.

    摘要: When a plurality of documents is read to generate an image file including a plurality of pages in a storage medium, if a capacity of the storage medium is short during generation, a storage control unit returns a writing position so that file end information can be written and writes the file end information therein. Further, when a cancellation instruction is input during reading of a document, the storage control unit writes the file end information even when a file is being generated. Thus, even if a memory capacity comes short in the middle of a page or file generation is interrupted by cancellation operation, the generated file can be prevented from resulting in an incomplete file that cannot be displayed.
