Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for machine learning based monitoring. Image data from a camera is received. On the hardware accelerator, a person detection model based on the image data is invoked. The person detection model outputs first classification result. Based on the first classification result, a person is detected. Second image data is received from the camera. In response to detecting the person, a fall detection model is invoked on the hardware accelerator based on the second image data. The fall detection model outputs a second classification result. A potential fall based on the second classification result is detected. An alert is provided in response to detecting the potential fall.

Abstract: A spoofing detection apparatus comprises obtaining, from an image capture apparatus, a first image frame that includes the face of a subject person obtained when a light-emitting apparatus is emitting light and a second image frame that includes the face of the subject person obtained when the light-emitting apparatus is turned off, extracting, from the first image frame, information specifying a face portion of the subject person, and extract, from the second image frame, information specifying a face portion of the subject person, extracting a portion that includes a bright point formed by reflection in an iris region of an eye of the subject person, from the first image frame, extracts a portion corresponding to the portion that includes the bright point, from the second image frame, and calculates a feature that is independent of the position of the bright point, and determining authenticity of subject person based on the feature.

Abstract: Implementations of a programmable interactive system to interact with a user to alter a user's behavioral patterns are provided. Such systems can include one or more of a processor, at least one input sensor operably coupled to the processor to sense at least one sensor input, at least one output device to output at least one stimulus to be observed by the user, a core unit to interact with the user, the core unit being operably coupled to the processor, and a non-transitory machine-readable medium embodying a set of machine readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to detect one or more sensor inputs by way of the at least one sensor, analyze said at least one or more sensor inputs to identify a parameter describing the status of the user, and responsive to determining the parameter describing the status of the user, causing the at least one output device to change output of at least one stimulus that is observable by the user.

Abstract: A system for data recording across a network includes a session border controller connecting incoming data from the network to an endpoint recorder. A load balancer is connected to the network between the session border controller and the endpoint and receives the incoming data from the session border controller, wherein the load balancer comprises computer memory and a processor configured to parse the incoming data into video data and audio data according to identification protocols accessible by the processor from the computer memory. A recording apparatus includes recording memory that receives the incoming data from the load balancer, stores a duplicate version of the incoming data in the recording memory, and connects the incoming data to the endpoint.

Abstract: An electronic device and a controlling method thereof are provided. A controlling method of an electronic device according to the disclosure includes: performing first learning for a neural network model for acquiring a video sequence including a talking head of a random user based on a plurality of learning video sequences including talking heads of a plurality of users, performing second learning for fine-tuning the neural network model based on at least one image including a talking head of a first user different from the plurality of users and first landmark information included in the at least one image, and acquiring a first video sequence including the talking head of the first user based on the at least one image and pre-stored second landmark information using the neural network model for which the first learning and the second learning were performed.

Abstract: A patient monitoring system includes a camera that selectively delivers a video feed to a monitoring station. A processor evaluates the video feed, and converts the video feed into a plurality of data points for an elopement detection system. The plurality of data points correspond at least to a combination of facial features and components of clothing for each person within the video feed. The processor is further configured to associate the combination of facial features and the components of clothing for each person to define a confirmed association, to identify whether the person is a patient or a non-patient, to verify the confirmed association of the patient by comparing updated data points from the video feed with the confirmed association, and to activate an alert when the confirmed association of the patient is unverified based upon a comparison with the updated data points.
