    Abstract: A liveness detection method includes: obtaining multiple first feature points and multiple second feature points according to a first image, a second image, and a feature point process, wherein the first feature points include two first fixed feature points and at least one first variable feature point, and the second feature points include two second fixed feature points and at least one second variable point; obtaining a first transform function according to the first fixed feature points and the second fixed feature points; obtaining at least one check feature point according to the first transform function and the first variable feature point(s); and determining whether the second image is a spoofing image according to the check feature point(s) and the second variable point(s).

    Abstract: A hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, is configured to be worn by a user, e.g. fully or partially on the head of the user, comprises a) an input transducer for converting a sound comprising a target sound from a target talker and possible additional sound in an environment of the user, when the user wears the hearing device, to an electric sound signal representative of said sound, b) an auxiliary input unit configured to provide an auxiliary electric signal representative of said target signal or properties thereof, c) a processor connected to said input transducer and to said auxiliary input unit, and wherein said processor is configured to apply a processing algorithm to said electric sound signal, or a signal derived therefrom, to provide an enhanced signal by attenuating components of said additional sound relative to components of said target sound in said electric sound signal, or said signal derived therefrom. The auxiliary electric signal is derived from visual information, e.g. from a camera, containing information of current vibrations of a facial or throat region of said target talker, and the processing algorithm is configured to use the auxiliary electric signal or the signal derived therefrom to provide the enhanced signal.

    Abstract: A patient monitoring system includes a camera that selectively delivers a video feed to a monitoring station. A processor evaluates the video feed, and converts the video feed into a plurality of data points for an elopement detection system. The plurality of data points correspond at least to a combination of facial features and components of clothing for each person within the video feed. The processor is further configured to associate the combination of facial features and the components of clothing for each person to define a confirmed association, to identify whether the person is a patient or a non-patient, to verify the confirmed association of the patient by comparing updated data points from the video feed with the confirmed association, and to activate an alert when the confirmed association of the patient is unverified based upon a comparison with the updated data points.
