摘要: An image capturing apparatus (210) for capturing an image (214) of a scene (12) that is within a fluid (16) includes an apparatus frame (228), a capturing system (230), and a control system (236). The capturing system (230) captures the image (214). The control system (236) adjusts a color content of the captured image (214) based on at least one of a separation distance (SDist) between the image capturing apparatus (210) and a subject (20) of the scene (12); an apparatus depth (AD) of the image capturing apparatus (210) below a fluid surface (21); a subject depth (SDep) of the subject (20) below the fluid surface (21); or a fluid type of the fluid (16). Additionally, the image capturing apparatus (210) can include a depth sensor (234) that provides an apparatus depth signal that corresponds to the apparatus depth (AD) of the image capturing apparatus (210). Moreover, the image capturing apparatus (210) can include an illumination system (724) that generates a generated light beam (726) that can adjusted to compensate for the light that is attenuated by the fluid (16).

摘要: A camera records exposure correction information on a recording medium such as a film. The exposure correction information may be based on calendar information, including date information and time information, and geographic information corresponding to the geographic location of the camera. A printing device effects exposure correction based on the recorded information during printing, thereby obtaining a properly exposed print. In a case when the camera itself effects exposure correction, the camera records exposure correction prohibiting information to prohibit exposure correction from being effected by the printing device.

摘要: The present invention covers automatic and manual control of the color of light striking film in a camera by electrically manipulating the color purity of one or more optical color correction filter elements made of clear and dyed dichroic liquid crystals that do not significantly disperse light being transmitted through the filters. In a preferred embodiment for a camera the opto-electrical and electrical components of the invention are designed to provide automatic correction of incident light on a photographic subject to match the color temperature standard to which the film was manufactured.

摘要: The present invention relates to a motion picture camera which includes a color conversion filter for adapting the tungsten type film to the daylight photography, a manual operation means capable of taking the filter out of the photographic optical path and compensating the sensitivity of the exposure meter device in accordance with the removal of the filter so as to adapt the tungsten type film to the tungsten light photography and a detecting means for removing the filter from the photographic optical path by detecting that the film is of the daylight type so that the tungsten type film as well as the daylight film can be used. The camera is characterized in that it is provided with a holding means which is functionally engaged with the above mentioned detecting means so as to hold the sensitivity of the above mentioned exposure meter device in the state to be used for the daylight photography with the tungsten type film when the detecting means detects that the loaded film is of the daylight type, whereby the operation of the above mentioned manual operation means is nullified when the daylight film is used.
