The improvement includes an immersion resistant water heater support having a fixed or an adjustable leveling capability. The water heater Lifesaver support is also fabricated to level an uneven water heater to bring the water heater to a vertical orientation. The adjustable water heater support uses a sandwich of two supports in a cam configuration that are indexable in a plurality of finite engagement positions to slightly alter the vertical orientation of the water heater to account for variations and or horizontal orientation of the water heater mounting surface.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for heating a defined space uses an engine to generate the heat required. The heating system includes a tank for heating liquid. A liquid coolant system has conduits which extend between the engine and the tank. A first respective conduit supplies coolant liquid from the tank to the engine and a second respective conduit supplies liquid which has been drawn through the engine and heated to the tank. An exhaust transfer system has an exhaust conduit which extends from the engine to the tank. A heating element is located in the tank to provide a supplemental heat source. Heating conduits extend from the tank to the space to be heated. The liquid coolant system, the exhaust transfer system and the heating element cooperate to heat the liquid in the tank quickly, thereby minimizing run time of the engine and increasing the efficiency of the heating system.

    摘要: A bi-heating hot water tank comprising a first compartment including a water inlet for receiving cold water, and a second compartment including a heating element for heating water. The two compartments are in fluid communication with each other whereby the second compartment receives the water from the first compartment. The hot water is discharged from the second compartment using a conduit that passes within the first compartment prior to exiting the water tank to preheat the water in the first compartment prior to entering the second compartment. This arrangement allows for reducing the operation time of the heating element, and for providing hot water at higher temperatures and for longer periods of time.

They may be insulated to reduce heat transfer between compartments. Where displacement is via density/temperature changes in a compartment, stops may be provided to limit the travel of the dividers/partitions.
