摘要:
A heat exchanger unit according to the present disclosure includes a combustion chamber in which a flame caused by a combustion reaction is located, a heat exchanger for a condensing boiler, the heat exchanger being located under the combustion chamber and including heat exchange pipes that receive heat generated by the combustion reaction and heat heating-water flowing through the heat exchange pipes and a main case having the heat exchange pipes accommodated in an interior space thereof, and a combustion chamber heat insulation pipe that is disposed adjacent to the combustion chamber and that receives the heating-water and allows the heating-water to flow therethrough to thermally insulate the combustion chamber.

A smart electric heating device comprises a storage unit, a first heating unit, a second heating unit, a control unit and a first temperature sensing unit. With the first temperature sensing unit to obtain an ambient temperature, the control unit compares the ambient temperature with a maximum increased temperature and a set temperature for controlling the first heating unit and the second heating unit to actuate. In this way, each user can use hot water of sufficient temperature better.
摘要:
A system for heating water in a hot water storage tank, comprising a heater; and means for drawing water onto the heater to be heated from beneath the heater.
摘要:
A controller for an electric booster element in a water heater is described. The electric booster element is powered from mains power and the controller comprises a control module and a capacitive module adapted to store power and supply stored power to the control module. The control module produces a control signal for controlling a relay to supply or restrict mains power supply to said booster element, said control signal depending at least in part on time of use data.
摘要:
The invention relates to a method for managing the heating of water in a tank of a water heater which comprises a device for electrically heating the water in the tank, characterized in that it comprises, when a water heating phase is actuated: activation of heating by the heating device, determination of a variation of the temperature in the tank over time and determination of at least one water filling state in the tank according to the variation over time.

An endothermic heat pump water heater has a water tank supported atop a hollow base, a heat pump circuit operable to provide primary heat to water in the tank, and an electric resistance heating element operable to provide secondary heat to the water. The heat pump circuit includes refrigerant tubing in which a compressor disposed within the base, a condenser in heat exchange external contact with the tank, a refrigerant expansion device, and an evaporator disposed within the base are connected in series. A vertical duct, external to the tank, has an inlet adjacent the upper tank end, and a fan is operative to sequentially flow air inwardly through the inlet, downwardly through the duct into the base, across the compressor, across the evaporator, and then outwardly from the base.

Direct current solar electric heating elements can be powered by an array of photovoltaic panels. The direct current voltage can be low or high with proper electrocution protection. Insertable immersion heating elements can be placed into any existing, gas, propane or electric hot water tank, cooking pot or hot tub. Heating elements in air can also be used for heating ovens, range cook tops and sauna heaters. The output of the photovoltaic panel is interfaced to the electric heater element via either direct connection or using a load-matching controller which maximizes the power delivered to the heater under all sun conditions. The maximum heater temperature is regulated by a thermostat.

A method of managing electrical power storage can include remotely controlling operation of one of a plurality of water heating units included in a single water heater, separately from controlling a remainder of the plurality of the water heating units, at a customer location in response to a remotely transmitted indication.

A water heater includes: an inner tank having an internal cavity configured to hold water therein; a heating device residing in the internal cavity; an outer lining that surrounds the inner tank, a gap being present between the outer lining and the inner tank; and insulation material located in the gap. The gap is under a vacuum of between about 5 and 200 microns. In this configuration, the water heater can have an R value in excess of 500. With this level of insulative capacity, water stored in the water heater may lose only 2° F. or less over a 24 hour period, thereby substantially outperforming conventional water heaters.
