    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to cross-component carrier (CC) activation of joint downlink (DL)/uplink (UL) transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. In one aspect, the apparatus receives, from a base station, an activation of a joint DL and UL TCI state for a CC, the joint DL and UL TCI state indicating a common beam for communication in DL and UL. The apparatus applies the joint DL and UL TCI state to multiple CCs in response to receiving the activation of the joint DL and UL TCI state for the CC.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for differential power parameter reporting in multi-panel uplink transmission.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify respective transmission/reception point (TRP) index values corresponding to a first TRP and a second TRP, where the UE may be configured for at least a first transmission of an uplink signal to the first TRP using a first antenna panel and a second transmission of the uplink signal to the second TRP using a second antenna panel. The UE may determine default pathloss reference signal (PLRS) resources for one or more PLRSs that are associated with the first transmission and the second transmission of the uplink signal. In some cases, the default PLRS resources may be determined based on a whether PLRSs are configured for the UE, the respective TRP index values, and a resource selection rule. The UE may transmit the one or more PLRSs using the default PLRS resources.

A communication device, which may be otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of repetitions of a first uplink data channel associated with a first directional beam and a set of repetitions of a second uplink data channel associated with a second directional beam different from the first directional beam. The UE may multiplex an uplink transmission associated with an uplink control channel with one or both of the first uplink data channel and the second uplink data channel, based on the set of repetitions of the first uplink data channel and the set of repetitions of the second uplink data channel As a result, the UE may transmit the multiplexed uplink transmission on one or both of the first uplink data channel and the second uplink data channel.
