Abstract: A communications method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A first access network device sends a first message to a core network device, where the first message is used to indicate to suspend one or both of a first PDU session and a second PDU session. The first PDU session and the second PDU session are PDU sessions that are established as requested by a same terminal, and are used to transmit a duplicated data packet. According to the method, when a condition for implementing reliable transmission is not met, the core network device can be indicated to suspend the PDU session. In this way, a PDU session does not need to be re-established, and signaling overheads for establishing the PDU session are saved.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wireless communication methods, terminal devices, and network devices. In one example method, a network device sends timing advance timer (TAT) configuration information to a terminal device, where the TAT configuration information is used by the terminal device to configure duration of a TAT. The terminal device receives the TAT configuration information sent by the network device. The terminal device configures the TAT based on the TAT configuration information, and asynchronously sends uplink data to the network de vice based on a running status of the TAT. The network device receives the uplink data sent by the terminal device based on the TAT configuration information.

Abstract: Example data processing methods and apparatuses are disclosed. In one example data processing method, a first terminal obtains packet delay budget adjustment information, where the packet delay budget adjustment information is used to indicate an adjusted packet delay budget, a packet delay budget adjustment amount, or a packet delay budget adjustment range. The first terminal adjusts a size of a jitter buffer based on the packet delay budget adjustment information, and then buffers data based on the adjusted jitter buffer.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a paging method, a device, and a system, and relate to the communications field, so as to reduce signaling exchange performed when an access network device pages UE, save a network resource, and improve data transmission efficiency. The paging method includes: receiving, by user equipment (UE), paging information sent by an access network device, where the paging information is used to instruct the UE to send a paging response by using an uplink data sending resource; and obtaining, by the UE, the uplink data sending resource according to the paging information, and sending paging response information to the access network device by using the uplink data sending resource.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data transmission methods, network devices, and terminal devices. One example data transmission method includes receiving, by a first network node, a first report from a terminal device, where the first report is used to indicate an uplink data volume of a buffer of the terminal device, and sending, by the first network node, first indication information to a second network node, where the first indication information includes information about the uplink data volume of the buffer of the terminal device, or the first indication information is used to indicate a relationship between the uplink data volume of the buffer of the terminal device and a predefined data volume threshold.
