Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the communications field, and provide a load migration method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: determining, by a source controller, a to-be-migrated UE that needs to be migrated to a destination controller; updating, by the source controller, resource information of the to-be-migrated UE in a database server, where the updated resource information includes a correspondence between the to-be-migrated UE and the destination controller; and sending, by the source controller, an inter-domain update instruction to an external network element, where the inter-domain update instruction includes an identifier of the to-be-migrated UE and an identifier of the destination controller.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose an SDN-based ARP implementation method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a controller, an ARP request sent by a first switch, and when it is determined that no ARP entry corresponding to the ARP request exists locally, sending, to the first switch, an instruction configured to instruct the first switch to flood the ARP request. In this way, the ARP request can be broadcast to an entire network by means of message forwarding between switches.

Abstract: This application provides a core network control plane device selection method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by a source core network control plane device, first network slice selection assistance information of a terminal device; and if the source core network control plane device cannot determine a target core network control plane device indexed by the first network slice selection assistance information, sending, by the source core network control plane device, the first network slice selection assistance information and first indication information to the terminal device, to trigger the terminal device to send a first registration request message. The first indication information indicates that a temporary identifier of the terminal device is invalid, and the first registration request message carries the first network slice selection assistance information and a permanent identifier of the terminal device.

Abstract: The present invention is applicable to the field of communications and provides a session establishment method and apparatus. The method includes: acquiring an infrastructure virtual circuit IVC corresponding to a user equipment UE; sending a virtual local area network VLAN label corresponding to the IVC to a customer location function set, so that the customer location function set adds the VLAN label to a packet of the UE, where the VLAN label is configured by an L2 session control functional entity for the IVC; and notifying an L2 forwarding functional entity of the VLAN label, so that the L2 forwarding functional entity forwards, to the IVC, the packet sent by the customer location function set and added with the VLAN label. In the present invention, a case in which the L2 forwarding functional entity needs to store a large MAC table is avoided, and packet forwarding efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A method and a system for exercising policy control, a policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF) are provided, which can solve the problem that no policy control can be exercised over application service flows without an application function (AF). In the method, a PCRF receives information about an application event sent by a PCEF after subscribing the application event from the PCEF; and the PCRF generates a control policy for a service flow of the application according to the information about the application event. In the present invention, the PCEF sends the obtained information about the application event to the PCRF, so that even when no AF is involved, the PCRF can still generate a control policy according to policy contexts including the information about the application event and the like.
