    摘要: A cradle for being used in automotive vehicles for supporting various automotive components includes a structure with variable thickness, defining a variable gauge cradle. The variable gauge cradle has a minimum thickness and maximum thickness, with various other thicknesses therebetween. The minimum thickness is less than an original thickness of a reference cradle in which the thickness is the same. The variable gauge cradle allows specific locations to be locally increased in thickness to achieve the desired stiffness at the areas requiring the increased stiffness, while leaving areas requiring a lower stiffness at a lesser thickness. The variable gauge cradle therefore may have a lower mass than the reference cradle. The thickness may be increased relative to the minimum thickness using patches that are bonded to a base layer or panel of the cradle. The patches may be distributed at different locations to create different thicknesses.

    摘要: A link component for a jewellery item includes a hollow body with substantially opposed, spaced side surfaces, one or more junction elements connecting the side surfaces, at least one connecting arm projecting outwardly from one side surface, and a through opening on the opposed side surface. The connecting arm of one link component is designed to be inserted into a corresponding through opening of an adjacent link component. At least one pin with a substantially polyhedral shape and dimensioned smaller than the overall dimensions of such connecting arm is provided on one of the side surfaces, and a corresponding connecting through hole having shape and dimensions substantially equal to those of the pin is on the opposed side surface. The pin of a link component is inserted into a corresponding connecting through hole of an adjacent link component, to prevent relative rotation around the axis of the pin.

    摘要: A wave gear apparatus comprises a spline having top, bottom, exterior, and interior surfaces. A plurality of spline teeth extend from the interior surface toward a center axis. A wave generator is rotatably disposed in the spline. A belt assembly extends about the wave generator and includes a plurality of belt teeth extending radially outwardly, whereby a total number of the belt teeth is less than a total number of the spline teeth. An output member defines a recess receiving the wave generator and the belt whereby, in response to a rotational movement from the wave generator, the output member rotates in a direction same or opposite of the wave generator. A bearing assembly is disposed between the wave generator and the belt assembly and includes a plurality of needles each extending parallel to the center axis. A vehicle lifting system including the wave gear apparatus is also disclosed herein.

    摘要: An axially adjustable steering column assembly includes an upper jacket. The steering column assembly also includes a lower jacket, wherein the upper jacket is received within the lower jacket and is telescopingly adjustable therein, the lower jacket defining a pair of slots extending in an axial direction of the lower jacket. The steering column assembly further includes a column mounting bracket, wherein the lower jacket translates and rotates relative to the column mounting bracket. The steering column assembly yet further includes a pair of bushings positioned within the pair of slots. The steering column assembly also includes a geared rack operatively coupled to one of the pair of bushings, the geared rack correspondingly rotatable with the lower jacket. The steering column assembly further includes a sensor in operative contact with the geared rack to detect the axial position of the axially adjustable steering column assembly.
