    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for multiple beam transmissions. In an example, a first CSI-RS triggering state of one or more CSI-RS triggering states indicates a CSI-RS resource set and associated transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. The CSI-RS resource set includes a plurality of CSI-RS resources. Each CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with one or more corresponding TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state. A first CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with a first plurality of TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing beam selection. In one aspect, an initiating wireless device may determine whether a pre-grant acknowledgement associated with a first beam has been received from a responding wireless device within an expected receive time. The initiating wireless device may generate an indication to prevent the initiating wireless device from using the first beam for a blocking duration in response to determining that the pre-grant acknowledgement associated with the first beam has not been received within the expected receive time.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to using less than all of an allocation for sending information. For example, a first device such as a user equipment (UE) may receive a grant from a second device such as a base station (e.g., a gNB) where the grant identifies resources and/or a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) allocated to the first device for a transmission. Due to one or more factors, the first device may elect to not use all of the allocated resources and/or may elect to use a lower MCS value. In some implementations, the first device may send an indication of this election to the second device. In some implementations, the first device may send information in a first subset of the allocated resources and apply puncturing to a second subset of the allocated resource.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. A user equipment (UE) may receive, via a control channel in a primary cell, one or more downlink control information (DCI) messages that include a secondary cell (SCell) dormancy indication and a request for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback. The DCI messages may have a format associated with downlink scheduling, and fields used to carry the SCell dormancy indication and the request for HARQ feedback may have a configuration that depends on whether the DCI messages are used to schedule a downlink data transmission. Furthermore, in some aspects, a DCI message may include a field that has a value to indicate whether the DCI message does or does not schedule a downlink data transmission, to enable the UE to correctly receive and decode the SCell dormancy indication and the request for HARQ feedback.

    Abstract: A wireless communication system utilizes a synchronization signal block (SSB) structure to enable beam switching at higher sub carrier spacing (SCS) or uplink transmissions within an SSB. The SSB structure has a first SCS for an SSB transmission and a second SCS for a data transmission. The SSB structure is based on the first SCS and the second SCS, with the SSB structure including at least one gap between SSB symbols or between SSBs. The wireless communication system transmits or receives an SSB based on the SSB structure. A base station may transmit a downlink signal during the gap, for example, where the second SCS is much greater than the first SCS. A user equipment may transmit an uplink signal such as an acknowledgment during the at least one gap. The user equipment or the base station may perform analog beam switching during the at least one gap between SSBs.

    Abstract: In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for wireless communications for receiving, from a network entity, a configured grant associated with a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure; determining a transmission priority on the configured grant associated with the LBT procedure; and determining a logical channel based on the transmission priority on the configured grant, wherein determining the logical channel further comprises determining that a scheduled transmission includes one or more signaling data transmissions on the configured grant, the one or more signaling data transmissions corresponding to at least one of a signaling radio bearer 0 (SRB0), SRB1, and SRB3; adjusting a priority level for the one or more signaling data transmissions to a highest priority level corresponding to a higher channel access priority class; and transmitting, to the network entity, on the configured logical channel of the configured grant after successfully performing the LBT procedure.
