Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE transmits an indication of capability of the UE to support one or more reference signal (RS) types as a quasi co-location (QCL) source RS for one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. A base station receives the indication, and determine a TCI state with a QCL source RS based on the indication of the UE capability. The base station transmits, to the UE, a designation of the TCI state with the QCL source RS associated with one or more scheduled communications.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for providing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions are described. One example technique involves receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a plurality of downlink data transmissions across a plurality of slots. The plurality of downlink data transmissions are monitored across the plurality of slots. At least one HARQ feedback scheme for acknowledging the plurality of downlink data transmissions is determined. HARQ feedback for the plurality of downlink data transmissions is provided in accordance with the at least one HARQ feedback scheme.

The first UE may transmit a RACH message on a selected RACH occasion, wherein the selected RACH occasion is selected based at least in part on whether a reference signal transmitted by a neighbor UE of the first UE has been detected in association with the selected RACH occasion. The apparatus communicates with the second node based on the determined type of communication and utilizing the allocated resources. The apparatus coordinates with a parent node to utilize the allocated resources in an SDM operation between the child node and the parent node.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for a vehicle user equipment (VUE) to obtain extrinsic information about an object or location. The VUE may transmit a request for information about the object or the location to a road side unit (RSU). The RSU may receive the request and determine a set of extrinsic information for the first UE regarding the object or the location based on a set of information from one or more other UEs. The extrinsic information includes information that is not provided by the VUE. The RSU may transmit the set of extrinsic information to the VUE. The VUE may determine whether to accept a feature of the object or the location in the extrinsic information based on the set of extrinsic information and a set of intrinsic information detected by the VUE, The VUE may select an autonomous driving action based on the accepted feature.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) initiates a positioning session based on ranging in a distributed system of UEs. The positioning session includes a plurality of anchor UEs with known positions that provide information including ranging information and their positions to the initiator UE in post-ranging messages. The initiator UE identifies anchor UEs that provide information that does not significantly contribute to the final position estimate for the initiator UE. The initiator UE, for example, may generate position estimates and associated accuracy levels for different subsets of anchor UEs and may use the accuracy levels to identify a subset of anchor UEs that may be used for positioning in place of the full set of anchor UEs without a significant loss of accuracy. Selected UEs are excluded from providing post-ranging messages in subsequent positioning sessions to reduce signaling overhead and improve efficiency.
