摘要: A flow control valve including a valve body, stepper motor, and valve member. The valve member includes a poppet that can slide longitudinally within a bore of the valve body when the stepper motor receives electricity. A diaphragm, extending inwardly from the valve body to the valve member, deflects in response to movement of the valve member. A flow control needle, mounted to the poppet of the valve member, is at least partially received in an outlet port of the valve body. The flow control needle cooperates with an inner surface of the outlet port to define an outlet flow orifice that varies in size when the valve member moves between open and closed positions. In the closed position, a seat engagement surface of the valve member contacts a valve seat of the valve body to create a fluid-tight seal.

In some embodiments, a symmetric flow valve includes a valve body having sidewalls, a bottom plate, and a top plate that together define an interior volume, wherein the top plate includes one or more axisymmetrically disposed openings; a poppet disposed in the interior volume, wherein the poppet includes a central opening and a plurality of portions configured to selectively seal the one or more axisymmetrically disposed openings of the top plate when the symmetric flow valve is in a closed position; and a first actuator coupled to the poppet to position the poppet within the interior volume in at least an open position, where the poppet is spaced apart from the top plate to allow flow through the one or more axisymmetrically disposed openings of the top plate, and the closed position.

摘要: The invention relates to an electromagnetic valve having a valve housing (2) and a valve opening (29) with a valve seat (8) and an electric drive coil (3) and a magnetic yoke (11) and a longitudinal centre axis (14). The magnetic yoke (11) is assigned a metallic plate armature (5) which is mounted movably and has an armature disc (48). The armature disc (48) lies sealingly with a sealing surface (9) against the valve seat (8) in a first switching position of the valve, and opens the valve seat (8) in a second switching position of the valve. According to the invention, the valve seat (8) is configured on a valve component (18), wherein the valve component (18) has at least one valve opening (29) which lies at a radial spacing (r) from the longitudinal centre axis (14). The valve seat (8) of the valve opening (29), which valve seat (8) corresponds with direct body contact with the sealing surface (9) of the armature disc (48) of the plate armature (7), consists of metal.
