    摘要: This invention relates to a combined ring rolling method for spherical valve body, which has the following procedures: 1) design for ring blank by computing ring blank volume and selecting reasonable rolling ratio according to the dimensions of forged ring; 2) design for rolling gap which includes the shapes and dimensions of working surfaces of main roll, mandrel and passive rolls according to the dimensions of ring blank and forged ring, the stable deformation condition of combined ring rolling and structure requirement of rolling equipment; 3) rolling forming with three stages of surface cross rolling, ring rolling and shaping by controlling of feeding speed of main roll and working positions of passive rolls. This invention has the technical economical advantages of low consumptions of energy and materials, high productivity and low production cost.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a flange for wind towers through a ring rolling process. The ring rolling process makes use of a ring rolling machine. The ring rolling machine includes a main roll which presses a circumferential outer surface of a blank, a pressure roll which presses a circumferential inner surface of the blank, and a pair of axial rolls which press upper and lower surfaces of the blank. The method includes expanding an inner diameter and outer diameter of the blank using the ring rolling machine, transferring the pressure roll vertically so that a protrusion provided on a circumferential outer surface of the pressure roll comes into contact with the circumferential inner surface of the blank, and forming a depression in the circumferential inner surface of the blank using the protrusion of the pressure roll.

    摘要: In a method and an apparatus for the manufacture of a workpiece with a rotation-symmetrically hardened surface area, the workpiece surface area to be hardened is initially applied with a carrier film of pulverized alloying elements. A roll is radially infed to the carrier film, accompanied by the rotation of the workpiece. Under the influence of heat, the pulverized alloying elements of the carrier film are rolled into the surface area of the workpiece so that the alloying elements are intercalated into the workpiece surface and increase its hardness. For performing this method, the workpiece is clamped on a spindle driven in a rotary manner. A receiving hopper and an application device are radially spaced from the spindle and are interconnected by a supply device.

    摘要: A method of and apparatus for producing a hollow ring groove insert for an engine piston, which is inserted by casting near the top of a piston for an engine to constitute a ring groove and a cooling path adjacent to the ring groove. The hollow ring groove insert comprises a formed sheet ring and a ring body having an inner peripheral surface and a piston ring groove. A process for producing the formed sheet ring includes the steps of fitting a sheet ring on a forming die such that the sheet ring covers a forming groove; pressing a forming roll against the sheet ring while rotating the forming die with a floating ring being placed in a movable state where it is radially movable by disengagement from a tapered portion of a centering member, thereby forming circular collars on the sheet ring; pressing a cutting tool against the outer peripheral portions of the circular collars with the floating ring being placed in a state where it is centered and fixed in coincidence with the axial center of the forming die by engagement with the tapered portion of the centering member, thereby turning the outer peripheral portions of the circular collars; and pressing a deburring tool against the outer peripheral portions of the circular collars with the floating ring being placed in the same fixed state, thereby removing burrs from the circular collars.
