摘要: A method of modulating a series of input digital symbols of a first modulation scheme is provided. The method is implemented by a transmitter and includes receiving a sequential series of samples of the digital symbols in a first domain of the first modulation scheme. The first domain is one of the time domain and the frequency domain. The method further includes determining a dual of the first modulation scheme. The dual has a second modulation scheme in a second domain that is different from the first domain the second domain is the other of the time domain and the frequency domain. The method further includes applying a 90 degree rotational operation to the second modulation scheme to generate a rotational modulation format, modulating the series of digital symbols with the generated rotational modulation format, and outputting the modulated series of digital symbols to a receiver.

摘要: A communication system for point to multipoint communications by grouping client devices based on associated modes is provided. In one example implementation, point to multipoint communication improvements are achieved by grouping a plurality of client devices by their optimal modes for communication. For example, the communication system can determine, based on channel quality indicators (CQIs) that two client devices of a plurality of client devices are associated with an optimal first mode of a modal antenna. The system can group the two client devices into a first group, the first group associated with communication using the first mode of the modal antenna. The modal antenna can communicate with the first group using the first mode of a modal antenna during a single frame of communication.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are provided that improves power savings and reliability of communication for DRX/eDRX modes. A base station may receive an indication from a network entity that a UE is in a DRX/eDRX mode. The base station may configure a WUS mode for the UE corresponding to the DRX mode or the eDRX mode. A UE may receive the WUS mode from the base station. When a UE is configured for relaxed RRM measurements for a first cell and moves to a second cell that supports a relaxed RRM measurement, the UE may return to a regular RRM measurement for a time period. When a UE configured for a WUS mode for a first cell moves to a second cell that supports the WUS mode, the UE may return to the DRX mode or the eDRX mode without the WUS mode for a period of time.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for priority handling for ProSe Communications. A relay wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may act as a relay between the network and the remote WTRU. The relay WTRU may receive a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) request message from a remote WTRU. The TMGI request message may include a TMGI, a ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI, etc. The relay WTRU may receive an evolved multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) data packet from a network. The eMBMS may be associated with the TMGI. The relay WTRU may apply the received ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI to the received eMBMS data packet. The relay WTRU may relay the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU based on the ProSe per packet priority level. The relay WTRU may forward the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU via a PC5 interface.

摘要: A wireless device and a method therein for receiving positioning system information from a radio network node. The wireless device and the radio network node operate in a wireless communications network. The wireless device receives positioning system information broadcast scheduling information comprising information about positioning System Information Blocks that are comprised in a System Information message. Further, the wireless device receives an indication that a pSIB is segmented into pSIB segments. Based on the indication and on the pSI the wireless device determines whether or not the pSIB segments are scheduled via contiguous scheduling. When the pSIB segments are determined to be scheduled via contiguous scheduling, the wireless device monitors scheduled resources, retrieves the contiguously scheduled pSIB segments and decodes position system information of the retrieved pSIB segments.

In turn, various implementations communicate with the first network entity based, at least in part, on the determined synchronization signal block(s).

摘要: A control information sending/receiving method and device are provided, to implement indicating a time-frequency location of a control channel to a terminal device in a 5G NR system or a future evolved LTE system. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, broadcast information; determining, from at least two predefined time-domain locations, a time-domain location of a broadcast channel carrying the broadcast information; determining a time-domain location of a control channel based on the time-domain location of the broadcast channel; and performing control channel detection in the determined time-domain location of the control channel.

摘要: A system uses signals received from actual user equipment (UE) to build in real time a reception pattern for base stations in a cellular communication system. Each UE is assigned a unique tone to broadcast so that a controller can analyze radio coverage by analyzing which base stations received signals from each UE in a coverage area. Cellular base stations necessarily have overlapping coverage and are assigned unique channel access values to avoid repeating values from overlapping cell sites. As overlaps change in real time, in response to live events, traffic jams, site outages, and new sites, signals received from UEs in the coverage area provide a real time view of system coverage. This allows better allocation of channel access values than prior art historical performance indicators using base station and controller call errors.

摘要: A system and method for providing time domain allocations in a communication system. In an embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to receive an indication of a time domain allocation in downlink control information associated with a radio network temporary identifier (“RNTI”) identifying the apparatus, and employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated with the apparatus. In another embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to associate a time domain allocation with a RNTI identifying a user equipment, and provide an indication of the time domain allocation in downlink control information to allow the user equipment to employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated therewith.
