Abstract: An arrangement of securing frame assemblies is provided within a shipping enclosure and engaging packages being handled. The frame assemblies have rigid frame members and distensible bags mounted on the frames. The distensible bags are, in use, distended as by being inflated or otherwise filled with a pressurized fluid to engage and secure freight.

Abstract: The invention relates to the provision of movable floors in a storage area and to the solution of the problem with conventional floors wherein the capacity of said storage areas are not utilised due to inaccessible areas or the machinery required to provide existing movable floors. The invention is of particular use in trailers or trucks for road or rail movement. The invention provides at least one frame (54) which forms a goods lifting and storage base, said frame supported by a series of first guide (10) means and, in one aspect said first means are mounted on a series of second guide means (56). At least one frame provided is capable of movement in relation to at least one of the guide means provided to ensure that goods can be moved into previously inaccessible areas. The formation of the guide means also ensures that minimum space is lost due to the provision of the movable frames.

Abstract: Cabinet units (26,28) are installed in a cargo container (2) and fully integrated into the container structure to enable them to withstand transportation forces. Each cabinet unit (26,28) includes a lower cabinet (26) and an attached upper cabinet (28). The units (26,28) are arranged in opposite rows along the container sidewalls (4). Adjacent units (26,28) are attached to each other. Each unit (26,28) is attached to an angle anchor beam (58) secured to the container floor (16) and to rails (88) secured to the container sidewalls (4). The frontmost units (26,28) abut the container front wall (10). Acceleration forces are transmitted from the cabinets (26,28) through a header (14) positioned above the container door (12) to the container structure. The rearmost upper cabinet (28) of each row has secured thereto a cabinet support member (116) which rotatably carries a screw (130). The screw (130) is rotated to abut a member (136) that engages the header (14) to provide a continuous load path for transmitting the forces.

Abstract: Rapidly deployable, immediately activated Mobile Mission Kits are highly flexible armored protective apparatuses that can be used in countless environments and against various threat types and levels to protect people, infrastructure and equipment while giving end users unit dominance advantages through the ability to establish an extended and hardened perimeter with checkpoint options by interconnecting operative (Mobile Mission Kit) units that interlock, an internal structural mission cage that can accommodate necessary tactical gear, weapons, equipment and supplies for missions or emergency responses, offensive capabilities, and stopping intrusion efforts from adversarial groups or entities. The Mobile Mission Kit does not require assembly or construction to activate the protective barrier upon arrival, and would not require any tools or equipment to active barrier, interconnect units, deactivation, or prepare for extraction

Abstract: A container having a battery and one or more active systems for maintaining temperature or other characteristics of goods stored within the container relies on a battery to maintain those active systems during transit. The size of the battery required for such applications may be reduced by providing access to external power during a shipment cycle. For example, shelves within transit vehicles or warehouses can supply electricity to the active systems via a wireless or wired connection, or they may recharge the container's battery, or both. The container may also have data bridging capabilities that use short range wireless technology to communicate with nearby devices that have access to other data streams, such as GPS data and internet connectivity. When bridged with a provider, the container may have access to new data streams, or may be able to disable internal devices providing those same data streams to conserve power.

Abstract: The retractable shelf system allows for the compartmentalization of storage container. The system is integrated into the interior space of the storage container and includes a plurality of shelving units distributed along the length of the storage container. Each shelving unit includes a first retractable shelf and a second retractable shelf. The first retractable shelf and the second retractable shelf each include a storage panel, a support beam, a hinge mechanism, and an at least one support leg. The support beam from each retractable shelf is mounted parallel and offset to each other within the storage container. The storage panel is mounted adjacent to the support beam by the hinge mechanism. The support leg is hingedly connected to a bottom surface of the support storage panel, opposite the support beam. The first retractable shelf and the second retractable shelf can be positioned into a retracted configuration and a functional configuration.
