    摘要: A foam generating device for a fire hose, comprising a socket designed to be attached to a water supply hose, a hose nozzle consisting of a first end wherein air inlets are made and of a second end for spraying the foam, an intermediate body attached between the socket and the first end of the hose nozzle and allowing the creation of several separate water jets passing through. The intermediate body is so arranged as to receive an emulsifying fluid and to pre-mix it with the water jets by aspiration and by contact of the emulsifying fluid with the water jets, then to spray the jets of water-emulsifier premix and to stir them with the air streams in the hose nozzle.

    摘要: The compressed air foam and high pressure liquid dispersal system provides a compressed air foam product in addition to concurrently producing a liquid under pressure for decontamination, general cleaning, vapor suppression, Hazmat remediation, fuel spills, and fire suppression support for durable equipment, vehicles, terrain, facilities, and aircraft. The system includes a power plant for powering the compressed air foam and high pressure liquid sub-systems of the system. The high pressure sub-system further includes a boiler for heating the liquid to a temperature above ambient temperature. The boiler and power plant may use the same type of fuel for decreasing the number of fuel supplies to the system. In addition, the power plant drives an air compressor for providing compressed air for powering the compressed air foam sub-system. The power plant further drives a high pressure water pump for pressurizing the water for the high pressure sub-system. The system includes additional features such as an air chuck that feeds off of the compressed air supply for powering pneumatic tools and inflating flat tires present during such cleaning and decontamination. Also, the system includes a 24 VDC electrical system for charging stalled vehicles and the like present during operations.

    摘要: The present invention provides an assembly, sock, and method for generating foam. The assembly includes a housing having a chamber, and a first and second orifice. A fan arranged within the housing draws a flow of air into the chamber through the first orifice and exhausts the flow of air through the second orifice to form an exhausted flow of air. A nozzle is arranged within the chamber and is situated in proximity to the second orifice to allow introduction of a fluid into the exhausted flow of air through the second orifice. A permeable sock includes an inner surface and an outer surface. The sock is arranged to occlude the second orifice in a manner to receive the exhausted flow of air with the fluid at the inner surface.

    摘要: A liquid atomization process comprises forming a two-phase fluid mixture of a liquid and a gas, under pressure, dividing the fluid into two separate streams which are passed into and through an impingement mixing zone in which they are impingement mixed to form a single stream of two-phase fluid. The mixed, single stream is then passed into and through a shear mixing zone and then into a lower pressure expansion zone, in which atomization occurs to form a spray of atomized drops of the liquid. The impingement and shear mixing zones comprise respective upstream and downstream portions of a single fluid passageway in a nozzle. This is useful for atomizing the hot feed oil in an FCC process.
